"this restaurant was recommended by a family who visited before she went to legoland. it does not have great host and service with some good Chinese food. we had the set menu that had a quantity variation for a set menu. if they stay in a hotel before a visit to legoland, they need this place. "This place is amazing, we’ve been ordering for years and always been tasty and huge portions. I really don’t understand the bad reviews. We pay £4.95 delivery because of where we live and it’s also much more expensive than our local Chinese but the difference is quality is huge and I would rather pay more for decent quality and quantity. Honestly don’t believe the bad reviews, give it a try yourself. You won’t be disappointed. Today we’ve had crispy chilli beef which is out of this world, a vegetable chow mein which is full of veggies and flavour, bbq ribs in bbq sauce is outstanding, beef chow mein is full of beef and again sweet and sour chicken balls are cooked to perfection and all 3 sauces are lovely. Right consistency and flavourful. We had a barbecue, sweet and sour and a curry sauce! We are regular customers and will continue to be regular! And to add, the delivery drivers are always friendly"

"I ordered just after 5pm when they opened so had high hopes of hot fresh food. Bitterly disappointed. Yak!!!! The sauces were cold and the food was barley warm and had zero flavour. No flavour!!!!! ALL the food I ordered tasted like it had been in the freezer for years and heated up as the order comes in. I just want this food out my body. I don’t even want to drive past this place as the memory of what I ate might come back. Horrible. Horrible food. Ugh To end on a positive, (because I’m nice) the portions were a decent size, (not that it mattered, no one like the food)."

"Upon returning from vacation, the kids were craving Chinese food, so we decided to walk to this restaurant to place an order. The person in charge at the front took our order because the Chinese staff were too busy on their tablets. I was initially told it would take 40 minutes, even though there was only one small order ahead of us. They then changed it to 30 minutes, but it ended up taking 55 minutes!!! The quality of the food was so poor that most of it ended up in the trash. We spent £55 on terrible food and service, not to mention that the owner lied to me in order to keep my money. Save yourself the trouble and dine elsewhere."

"Ordered a takeaway from Wei Dao for 4 Singapore Noodles and a Beef in BB Sauce. Great food noodles had that oomph taste and was quite crisp. I would happily recommend Wei Dao to anyone looking for a tasty, less greasy, bang for the buck, healthy Chinese takeaway. The guys running the place was swell as well. My wife was allergic to prawns and the Singapore Noodles did have them. The note I placed with the online order to avoid adding them to one of the noodles was unfortunately overlooked, perhaps being a busy Saturday evening. I called them to complain once I reached home. The person who picked up was so graceful, that he kindly suggested to provide me with another one without prawns and even threw in a few Spring Rolls as a good will gesture. When I offered to return the original one, he insisted to keep it for the family on the house.Was quite amazed with their response, and when I reached to collect the food, they apologized unreservedly. "This place changed to worsen, I'm surprised it still standing. Upon arrival at the door, a4 paper tape it to the door saying Pay before you eat . with is fair enough, as you approach the staff they take you straight away to the bar so you pay for your meal, they take out the unlimited pop drinks with you need to spend more money. £2.80 for a pint of coca cola that didn't even taste like the genuine one, more like water down and the cheap ones you get from supermarkets for less than 50p, ridiculous. So the table for 2, they took us to the busiest and loudest corner, even when we politely ask if we can be seated in a quieter table. Staff looked at us funny and said no. With we founded very rude. As soon you sit down at the table you've been observed like crazy! whenever you go the staffs and manager has eyes on you. On the walls, there is a notice poorly made written by hand and once again a4 paper saying you can eat from 12 noon till 5.30 pm if you stay longer you be charged! very passive writing. This place has zero maintenances, you can see dust everywhere especially of the curtains I don't think they ever been washed. Mould at the ceiling and the walls you can spot from miles, not to mention poor chairs and tables. Cutlery is not presentable I had to wipe in the napkin before using it. Food buffet variety is nothing special and the desserts are horrible, cheap icecreams, most of the desserts are from supermarkets, they left in the trays for god knows how long. (You never know you might eat out of date food). Plates are chipped, some of them wet. Bowls bearly any. I and my partner agreed that the food was over salted and had too much pepper inside. It's a cheap Chinese if you can call that, use to be alright but now it's just a no, we won't be back here again. Prices for the buffet are somehow ok for lunch but then you need to spend more on drinks with the bill could be expensive. Lunch Monday Thursday £7.5 Adult £4.5 Child, Buffet at the evenings seems overpriced: Monday Thursday Dinner (5:30pm 10pm) £8.5 Adult £5 Child Friday Saturday: Lunch (12noon 5:30pm) £8 Adult £5 Child Dinner (5:30pm 10pm) £9.5 Adult £5 Child Sunday All Day and Bank Holidays (except good Friday): 12noon 10pm, £8.5 Adult, £5 Child What we noticed many people left leftovers, including myself as I had undercooked potatoes. The way this business is going soon or later they will charge you for leaving leftovers! As we were leaving the restaurant all staffs including manger had eyes on us, felt like they not trusting us. It's terrible to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. After the food, we both had stomach pains and my partner felt sick, we unsure what could have been caused by it but we know for sure we go elsewhere and pay a little bit extra to have a proper Chinese rather than this that makes you sick."

"COELIAC We ordered a takeaway on route to the New Forest for our holiday. I found this gem from reccomendations from social media after lots of coeliac said they do a Gluten free menu and treat allergies very seriously. We ordered so much food as I took advantage of not having had a chinese in sooooooo long but this was SO GOOD and generally one of the best Chinese’s I have ever had. (Please get the Singapore noodles salt and chilli chicken they were to die for!!!!! We had our campervan and they even let us sit and eat our takeaway in the van in the carpark.
