"Yeah, the food here is reasonable, delivery was fast but holy hell the customer service is absolutely appalling. I had an item missing off of my order from Deliveroo so called up to ask if it was an accident could they re deliver it. First I got told, they couldn 't find my order and to call back in 5 minutes. I called back 5 minutes later and got told they don 't deliver the item, then that I didn 't order the item that was missing (it was part of a meal deal) and then that he needs to call his manager. When I started asking why it was necessary to call a manager over 2 pieces of cake I got so much verbal abuse it was unbelievable. I then got promptly hung up on! I waited to cool down and then called back to ask when they were going to deliver the item, the verbal abuse and ranting continued. Shouting over my voice with la, la, la shut up and being told to go to Deliveroo to get my order fixed. Fine, I 'll do that. Some time later the manager Alex called me back and was quite kind and offered to send me the item. I sincerely hope the guy who hung up on me twice and verbally abused me loses his job."

"The restaurant is absolutely great for its taste, especially the chow mein which tastes just like home! I'm sure the other dishes are just as authentic. The ambiance is not super fancy, but it's clean and tidy with Nepalese folk music playing in the background. The space is a bit limited for larger groups since they don't use the first floor, but the staff, especially Herr Suckat, is very helpful in suggesting the best options. They even have child seats available. I really enjoyed my experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to try authentic Nepalese cuisine."

"Went here last Wednesday night on the strength of their advertised all night early bird Sunday to Thursday. Only to be told when we went to order at 7.20pm that it finished at 7pm. After quite a lengthy conversation the lady eventually let us order off the early bird menu. However, what I found extremely infuriating was, when the starter landed on the table for us to eat, the manager came over and proceeded to ask us where we saw the offer- what website, saying he couldn't find it, and that we must be wrong with our information. My poor friend who booked the table was quite upset, as she felt responsible for ruining the night. He was quite obnoxious and I asked if we could at least eat the starter while it was still warm and that we would find the website when we got a chance. We of course did find the address- their own website, which he then told me he couldn't see on his laptop and only I could see that misinformation on my phone. It was an extremely stressful situation to be in and put a very bad taste in all our mouths. I would be extremely slow to return"

"I would consider this place more of a takeout option. If I were to give it a rating, I would give it stars. The noodle soup is fantastic, with a good portion size and delicious flavors. Even though I have lived in the area for some time, I only started ordering from here recently. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach them on the phone number listed on Google. I recommend fixing this issue. I did notice a Deliveroo delivery driver at the restaurant, so that is a good option to consider."

"I only write reviews when what I get is different than what I expected. We've used the Star Wok a few times a year and until now always been pleased particularly as they don't use monosodium Glutamate. Tonights takeaway will be the last ..at least until the chef(s) change. So disappointed! Sesame prawn toasts overcooked, deep-fried and tasteless. Crispy duck (shredded) was dry and didn't include the skin (the best bit Our other dishes were equally disappointing. We've recommended Star Wok to friends and family for years. I regret no more. We don't use them frequently enough to pinpoint when the chef's changed. Now we have to find a good Chinese takeaway in MK."

"Tried this place twice. First time my husband ordered a curry which was pretty good. On the strength of this we ordered a big meal for people last night which was appalling. Ordered selection of starters. Two different sorts of spring rolls which turned...out to be pancake rolls so dripping in fat that one completely collapsed in the bag and couldn't be eaten, they were mostly just filled with underseasoned beansprouts and inedible. Was told one sort would have prawns in, but only a few flacid bits of what could have been chicken. Sesame toasts were thick with a rubbery, presumably prawn, but who could tell, layer and so oily which none of us could eat. BBQ spare ribs were ok as was the crispy seaweed. Our mains were all disgusting. Chinese pork chopsuey with only beansprouts and onions in, no other veg and meat had none of that red tasty seasoning that makes it Chinese style, was fatty and disgusting; tasteless and flacid chicken with cashews with just beansprouts again; duck in plum sauce which turned out to be duck in pineapple and so fatty it was inedible; chicken with ginger and springonions was edible and that's about it. Rice and prawn crackers were acceptable. Our food recycling ate well but we didn't. Would not use again. Didn't go back to complain because where do you start, and do I really want to gather all our opened cartons and food on plates and take it back to show them?"

We've ordered a few times during the week but at the weekend our order was well below average. We waited minutes shy of to get Ropey ribs Tasteless sesame prawn toast Bland egg fried rice Didgy cantonese style sweet sour prawns Totally wrong kung pao chicken There was way, way too much sauce in the Kung Pao, there should be only a bit. The sauce was seriously overdosed with cayenne pepper, ZERO NUTS not peanuts nor cashews. Tasted as if they were scrimping on ingredients, all the sauces were just based on a cheap chinese supermarket type sweet and sour. Either that or the chef was clueless?? What went wrong Wok Eat? I'll leave it a while before I try again."
