"The atmosphere is lovely and authentic, and the service is excellent—these two aspects warrant a five-star rating. However, when it comes to the main focus of the visit, which is the food, I was let down. The pasta carbonara I ordered was a far cry from what a true carbonara should be; it contained none of the traditional ingredients, such as Parmesan cheese, pancetta, or guanciale. Instead, it was made with the cheapest ingredients and was overwhelmed by single cream, a dish I could easily make better myself. I don't mean to sound overly critical, but I have high standards when it comes to culinary experiences. I sincerely hope improvements can be made in this area."
