"This is the best Chinese restaurant my wife and I have ever visited (and we've been to a lot). The food quality was exceptional - Michelin Star quality in both taste and presentation. They even provided a child seat for our 8-month-old baby. I had the handmade herbal spring rolls as a starter and the seafood in truffle sauce for the main course. The drink selection was also good. While the prices were high, they were expected given the high quality of the food."

"great place, from beginning to end we could not mistake this restaurant, the employees make them feel comfortable and take care of the moment they arrive. the food we have ordered was the £30 a head gosforth palace banquet, there is a good choice to choose its served piping hot and it was all delicious, also good size fractions. the employees are very confident and attentive and ensure that they have everything they need. well made to all employees for a great night we will definitely recommend to family and friends and we will be back soon."

"Group of 13 booking for Sat 7pm. We were seated on time and place was clean and had a good atmosphere. Then everything went downhill! We asked which dishes were Halaal and the waitress was unsure so called another waiter. We were told only the chicken was Halaal. A couple of the group were vegetarian so we all choose vegetarian hot and sour soup for starters. The starters took 45 min to arrive. One of the group thought it contain meat so called the waiter and to our horror we were told the soup we had been served contained PORK and apologised for the error. Eating PORK is unacceptable for Muslims and eating MEAT is unacceptable to vegetarians. We should have got up and left at that stage, but stayed on and it took another 45 mins to get the mains. There is a real issue with any restaurant where incorrect food is served. We will never visit this place again and I wanted to share the bad service we received."

"I belive is a week late to write an evaluation here. I visited this place last Wednesday, because it went to the half price offer on the food. therefore, my partner and I thought our dishes were half-priced. unfortunately not. only one of four was half price, so we have to pay more than our expectations. I also believe that this should have been told to us before we ordered them, as we asked them, that the food is half price. Nevertheless, eating was delicious and so was the double chocolate ice cream. only that we were not aware of the right offer!"

"I had eaten here a few times before and the food was good, however last time, I had to chase our orders and the manager came over and started shouting at me and insisted I told him whether he should sack his chef. Really unprofessional. However, last night, I thought we would go back. We arrived and were shown to a table. We ordered drinks and the same manager came over and said Im not sure when you will get your food! We asked what he meant. He said (in a very obnoxious and confrontational tone) We are very busy, what do you want me to do? Go and kick the chef? He started shouting and I simply asked if he could give me a rough idea of how long food would be. He got more angry and was shouting to the point where other diners were looking over. I tried to reason with him and said that we would wait but if he could ask the chef just to give us an idea, that would be great. His tone got even louder and he snatched our menus back from us. He said You better leave and then started on me, bringing up how I complained last time which was over 6 months ago. We were embarrased, astounded and felt so awkward. He ushered us out of the restaurant with everybody watching. We then went to Paprika Club and explained we were in a huge rush. Whilst I am a regular there, the restaurant was packed and they ensured we had a wonderful meal within 20 minutes. Been, you are an awful place and your manager is a joke. We will never return and I would urge others to steer WELL CLEAR!"

"I’ve never been so disappointed at a restaurant, and I won’t be returning. We were one of only three tables on a Saturday night, and it was easy to see why. The idea of all-you-can-eat for a set price sounded appealing, but the execution was lacking. We ordered six starters, and the ribs were tough while the spring rolls were underwhelming. When the main course arrived, one of my friends struggled to eat his dish. My chicken with spring onions and ginger was overwhelming, leaving me sweating all night and worried about feeling ill. If I had paid for this meal, I would have expressed my dissatisfaction directly to the owners, but our friends who handled the bill were just too nice."

"I had a nice lunch here at Rendezvous restaurant. The place can be a bit hard to find as it is less obvious (go in through the door and take the stairs up). Quite an extensive menu! I ordered the bean curd family style and egg fried rice. It also came with some crackers. The bean curd dish was delicious. I asked for it to be spicy and indeed it was spicy which was nice! Overall it was a good experience."

"Went as a group of 6 for a friends birthday and had The Best time. Huge range of food and all of it was absolutely delicious satay sauce...such a small point but! it was superb! all arrived piping hot and super tasty. We moved on to Beer Pong, the manager arranged for us to go on as a group hadn't turned up and we didn't know you had to book. Very kind helpful man! Was BRILLIANT fun special mention to Henry who looked after us in the best possible way a Happy Birthday pud for our friend some shots (which were surprisingly LOVELY! at the horseshoe table. Made sure we all had a great experience. Highly recommend this place for an all round top evening. "

"This is a review for takeout. We ordered a Thai takeaway for a family of 4 adults and found it to be expensive, costing over £84 with a pre-set delivery charge and service charge included. Although I don't mind paying for good food, the portion sizes did not match the price we paid. The hot and sour soup was served in a tiny plastic bowl with minimal prawns and mushrooms, lacking substance. The prawn toasts and spring rolls were extremely small, almost laughable in size. While the main courses were tasty, the portions were so small that we were left hungry afterwards. Overall, we found the food to be very poor value for money. Although there were no issues with the Deliveroo delivery service, we will not be ordering from this restaurant again."

"I went here with my gf for mum, I really enjoyed it and it seems dona good trade supply food to all the demand I saw to eat a series of chaps. the dimme sum was freshly tasting, it was very tasty and I sometimes underestimated how temperature hot it would be and I had to wait until I had to cool down. I'm from hongkong and I was impressed with the food. the ribs had a beautiful sauce they had in their mouth tender flesh. the siu mai well made and freshly made. the crispy pork bauchnabel bao was beautiful because the skin was so delicious and crispy in a white bao. the sweet fish cakes were so pleasant I ordered two plates. the dizzying dumplings were very well filled. they had nothing sweet, which I would recommend, because the fried milk bars were not on camp. excellent service the ladies there were so beautiful and polite. they made sure we were good at lunch. "My partner and I were really looking forward to this meal. She mentioned that she hadn't had Chinese food in a while and wanted to satisfy her craving. "the firefighter offers a spicy alternative to the otherwise bare and blanching alternatives in and around milbank towers. "COELIAC We ordered a takeaway on route to the New Forest for our holiday. I found this gem from reccomendations from social media after lots of coeliac said they do a Gluten free menu and treat allergies very seriously. We ordered so much food as I took advantage of not having had a chinese in sooooooo long but this was SO GOOD and generally one of the best Chinese’s I have ever had. (Please get the Singapore noodles salt and chilli chicken they were to die for!!!!! We had our campervan and they even let us sit and eat our takeaway in the van in the carpark.
