Big portion, nice food, cool atmosphere. They do have student discount which is good! However the customer service can be better.

Nice dining place for a large group of people. Good value for the price and everything tastes oriental. Highly recommend 西湖牛肉羹 (Minced beef thick soup with beaten egg), 四季豆 (stir fried snap bean) and 牛腩煲（beef brisket in casserole).

The food never disappoints. Everything we have ever tried here is very delicious. Ordering from the Menu with the larger selection (Chinese menu) is the way we go. Good, genuine service. Our favourite for genuine Chinese food. Fabulous .

Having not long moved to Leeds I’m always looking for the best spots and I can’t recommend this place enough. Tasty food, excellent service and a great atmosphere. Our waitress was absolutely lovely and was so helpful when recommending dishes to suit our tastes. Will definitely be my go to Chinese in Leeds from now on.

What a fantastic experience for Dim Sum. With friends and the food was superb. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to anyone that wants to enjoy Chinese food for affordable prices. 5 star service and 5 star food. The atmosphere is electric too. Unable to take pictures as the food was too good to take pictures of.

a very popular place to go for dimm sum at a weekend, which is a good sign that eating is fresh! we ordered a few dishes and they came hot and freshly made! prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants with dimm sum. they charge 50p each for Chinese tee that was excellent and it is unlimited! great to wash the food! friendly staff and clean toilets!

Attended with 4 of us. Seated quick then left for about half hour. Finally ordered drinks with one server and food with another I ordered special fried rice asked what it came with 'everything ' assuming duck and so in. All 4 meals were boiled bland meat with not even a hint of salt and pepper. We used half a bottle of soy sauce between us trying to liven it up. When servers came I didn 't even take my leftovers home but did mention the food 'does your chef use seasonings like salt and pepper ' the response ' people don 't like it ' no apologies or care. Bill for 4 was £140! Absolutely disgusting please see pics and avoid at all cost

on Wednesday 23/02/22 we drove to oriental city to lunch with a friend. After reading some of the reviews that point to bad customer service, I was initially somewhat tangible about our choice of the venue, but we decided to give it a try to check for ourselves. beautiful surprise. we sat within 2 minutes and had a waitress with us within the next few minutes. it didn't take long until our jasmine tea arrived, followed by our eating. our waitress kola (the apologies when they were written wrong) was very happy and helpful and made our lunch really a positive experience. I decided to go to oriental city before the cross stamford street. the oriental city restaurant is part of the Sing-Ying group, which imports everything and everything oriental in the northern englands. they say their chefs from hongkong have over 40 years experience in the kitchens that produce their cantonese and Sichuan dishes. the restaurant was opened in 2007, but I had never heard of the place until I had read something a month ago, I used my Sat-Nav to find my way there, as I would probably have been lost in sheepscar. from the road they would never really guess that it is there as the building it in double as Chinese super market, probably the largest in leeds.
