"Noisy and poor quality food. The restaurant obviously hasn’t been looked after since it first opened, dirty tables and chairs and really dusty. The place is just horrifically noisy, it’s gone from a quite high class steak restaurant to what is akin to a Toby Carvery for new-money chavs. Kids screaming and running about whilst the parents don’t give a toss. Gutted it’s gone downhill so much really as it used to be really nice."

was packed with flavors and had just the right amount of heat, and the butter naan was perfectly fluffy and buttery. The service was also excellent, attentive without being intrusive. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Stockdales has very comfortable interior with the right level of noise to be able to enjoy a conversation. The waiting staff were the right level of attentive with a great knowledge of the menu. There was a wine to suit every taste and budget. The duck egg starter was very decadent and a great portion size. We would definitely visit again.
