"Noisy and poor quality food. The restaurant obviously hasn’t been looked after since it first opened, dirty tables and chairs and really dusty. The place is just horrifically noisy, it’s gone from a quite high class steak restaurant to what is akin to a Toby Carvery for new-money chavs. Kids screaming and running about whilst the parents don’t give a toss. Gutted it’s gone downhill so much really as it used to be really nice."

"We had lunch here recently with friends, seven of us in total, to celebrate one couple's golden wedding anniversary. We had a private room upstairs and everything was excellent, delicious food, nothing could be faulted on everyone's meal, very friendly and good service. We have been many times and will continue to return often"

"The food was great! Our 2 year old daughter loved the Arancini rice balls and we had to re-order it. I loved the Crab ravioli and my husband got the Risotto among a couple of other small bites. The service was pretty fast. I will take out a star though because our server was rude. Generally most of the servers are really friendly in the UK especially with our toddler but he refused to smile. He gave me a look when I said that I didn’t want to order a main course and stick with starters and small bites. I found that weird. But rest of the staff was really friendly."

"Lovely setting with a nice view. Service was exceptional, very attentive and friendly. Food was the outstanding point about this restaurant. We had the 3 course Sunday lunch menu. The starters were fantastic. The cheese and onion risotto was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. My dad had the mackerel mousse starter and said it was one of the best starters he had ever had. We had the Wagyu beef Sunday roast which was magnificent. Beautiful beef and the largest Yorkshire pudding I have seen accompanied by tasty vegetables in ample portions. Even though substantially satisfied we had to try the dessert! It didn't disappoint. A cranberry curd with vodka jelly and meringues and a brandy mousse with honeycomb and orange gel were amazing. Great value for money for such a lovely restaurant. Would definitely revisit. The only downside was that the roof gardens were closed for a private event so hopefully next time we will be able to walk around them."

"It was an incredible experience. We were celebrating a friend's 50th birthday and the staff, from the doormen to the waiters, waitresses, and sommelier, were exceptional. The level of service and attention to detail confirmed that this restaurant is truly 5-star quality. They even went as far as to clean the table between courses and replace our napkins when we left the table. The food was amazing, catering to both meat eaters and vegetarians (including a teenager) in our party. The wine tasting was also exceptional. Overall, it was a truly fantastic and special experience."

"a wonderful discovery in a magnificent location opposite the majesty of the lincoln cathedrale with eating and service to fit. for beginners enjoyed my wife the very extraordinary pan seared king scallops with ham knuckle compression, vanilla drunk grapes, baked hazelnuts, pickled bark) while for me the wood pigeon with pork cracks, golden rosin cries, beetroot, black berries, jus) was an absolute mouth. for the main I went for gressingham duck breast confit ente bein, braided kartoffel, pickled beet, brombeere puree) and my other half enjoyed the braised beef with chive kartoffels, pot roast root vegetables, meerrettich, red wine jus). the presentation and taste were simply culinary arts of a standard rare found in the majority of restaurants in lincoln. we both shared the cinnamon poached pear for dessert with mandelfrangipane, brombeer sorbet, white chocolate), which is a nicely balanced conclusion to a gourmet standard menu. eaten in restaurants both here in the united kingdom of the king and in france, which contain a relatiw local Michelin starting facility) I must say that the green room is on a level with these. the atmosphere was relaxed and the service of nigella our waitress was both thoughtful and attentive to the needs of the customer. I encourage you all foods to pay a visit to this jewel of a restaurant."

"Table reservation not ready on a Sunday at had to wait minutes before we were seated and had to ask if the table was ready (no staff member helped us). The restaurant was dirty and lacked in standards, the bar area was full of used empty glasses and empty bottles of wine (immediately sends the wrong impression). Had to ask for drinks and then to be served. Food was nothing short of shambolic. Look warm soup, hard terrine. Steak was cooked medium to well despite medium rare being requested. Chips were cold. The tempura batter was soggy and slid off the fish...disgusting. Biggest regret not reading the reviews prior otherwise we would have given it a body swerve. Consistent reminders of additional charges at a whip is embarrassing when broadcasted. Numerous folk from the general public used the bathrooms waking past our table to which one asked “where’s the toilets?”. Having read some reviews, it’s very clear to see the GM doesn’t act on issues being raised provides typical responses of being sorry, it’s not up to usual high standards etc. Do yourself a favour, avoid this place at all costs not to mention over priced! Shocking establishment."

"I went for Afternoon Tea with my husband. The sandwiches were ok, nothing special. The cakes again were ok. I give lots of Afternoon Teas, and have been to hotels and Fortnum Mason for beautiful teas, so l was disappointed when the sandwiches appeared on a plain white earthenware plate and the cakes on a slate!! no tiered cake stands and no Green Tea either. Also you should be asked if you want more tea or sandwiches or cakes, again not forthcoming. The Afternoon Tea was a present so l feel it was wasted and perhaps should have chosen another location."

"just fair because we had the Yorkshire plate, it was all kicked. not a sweet, only a potato fritter (can be somewhere cheese,) two crab cakes again not very delicious, a very small fish goujon in the teig with a small part of chips, and a deep roasted scotchei. none of them was great, and was served with four pots of Mayo/Cutney to give him a taste."

"a Sunday dinner in the restaurant in blandys excellent as always (with some suggestions for each visit). we have used blandys for a few years, and post covid, it is as good as ever and one of the aspekte I liked is that the waitress today (the same as many other employees) are long in service, so the firma is well protected their employees while covid. the ambiente, service and eating was as always excellent; well made blandys in inglewood. suggests: if they plan to visit when they book, it helps them to tell when they are a vegetarian; they will make sure they have a good choice. they close the kitchen around 2 clocks, which seems a bit early, so they try to there for 1 or 1.15, so there is no risk of small services (the proportions are normally large)"

"we have enjoyed a nice afternoon and would especially recommend the £13 children who was excellent. our daughter is 2.5 years old and had a wonderful time with banana sandwiches and a crisp buttie! she got a little goodie bag to do with the arrival with dingen and she also enjoyed the smell of tees. we were very comfortable that they were incredibly friendly and welcoming with us and the staff. our adult kitchen was also delicious and very good value for money, with a complementary pimms cocktail. compared to other hotels, I would say that this tee is better than others, more prestigious places."

"I think what shows is this is a restaurant with strong ambitions. I 'm told the menu has been recently revised, and its a fine menu with an inventive flare. The visiting menu is a very nice concept, that I hope they will continue with. Portion sizes are a little on the smaller side, you will want the starter, but I think this is partly reflected in the pricing which are on the low of average for Kensington. The food is well executed, and flavourful, presentation is good. Service was slightly green, did absolutely everything right (a rare thing), but maybe just not perfectly cohesively. Atmosphere is very pleasant. In summary, its actually a very nice restaurant. PS. The toilets are outstanding!"

"like most people who are eaten with eating and eating, I am against chains in general. that is because they are through their natural places that have removed the whole heart and the soul and the idiosyncracy from them. the things we actually are looking for. it must be. everything is formulated in the rule and strictly regulated by the office. it is a system that works to a certain degree. I was trying to try the new côte brasserie. since the sad defeat of Relais de venise l' entrecôte last year, there is nowhere that I can go to know in the city for simple steakfrites. we just don't have the small local family leading French bistro to the corner that's been there for years, so where else is it? they couldn't afford the high-city rentals for a start. they can only afford to get in. (maybe we don't have a good tapas bar now until ibérica can move next year.)"

"Absolutely outstanding. We had our wedding meal here for 35 people, and it was everything we'd hoped for and more. Ruta went the extra mile to make the experience special, with decorations, flowers, and all the help in the lead up to the day. Her team and the service they provided was excellent. The food was top quality, as it always is at Cote. They absolutely nailed it! Thank you to everyone who was part of the day :"

"The food was reasonable, although the meat in my steak pie was a bit fatty and the carrots were rock hard. We were sitting about as far away from the door as you could get, but unfortunately we were directly in line with the door, so it was a bit chilly. Service was great apart from waiting ages for our desserts. Normally the wait wouldn’t have bothered me, but we were going downstairs to see a band,so were having to keep an eye on the time. Staff were lovely though. I liked that we were given a carafe of water straight away without having to ask for it. We were seated in the bar area, so quite a noisy place. Not the best for trying to have a conversation, but it has a lively atmosphere. Overall a reasonably priced menu for a city venue and I would probably eat there again."

"About 300m south west of Haymarket station along Dalry road, beautiful small restaurant. I highly recommend going there for regional nights a monthly (or could be quarterly) event , fixed cost unlimited set menu covering cuisines of the chosen region with regional music etc . I was there about 3 weeks ago for Brazilian night and about a year ago for Indian night... both were very good and very popular (crowded in a good way). On a regular day, it is less busy but going without a reservation might not be a good idea. Food is good simple but tastes great and menu is always changing and ideal for vegetarians struggling to find something more than just salad as they have some good veg dishes."

"Every time I eat at 21, I wonder why we don’t come here more often! The food here is always lovely, I’ve never had a bad meal here which is something I can’t say about many restaurants, and the service is just perfect. So many restaurants we have eaten at recently have a very casual approach to service which is fine, but sometimes it’s nice to eat somewhere where you are made to feel a bit special and where nothing is too much trouble. 21 has that off to a tee! We ate here on a Wednesday night and took advantage of the Bring Your Own Wine offer. The set menu was really good and we had the terrine and ceviche to start followed by a delicious duck confit and a braised beef shoulder which my husband said was fabulous. Some chocolatey/nutty thing for pud and some cheese. The only slight quibble was that the slice of cheese was on the meagre side (there were lots of crackers and bread and a nice chutney) but as I was so full from the first two courses, it was possibly a blessing in disguise! We brought our trainee guide dog with us and all the staff were so kind and helpful. Thanks so much to everyone at 21 for a lovely evening and we hope to come back soon."

"Delicious food. Glad to have discovered this little gem. Would recommend trying the bubble and squeak with mushrooms, soooo tasty. The breakfast bun was really good as well. Good generous portions. Kudos to the chef. Staff are lovely and super friendly. Flat white was very good, better than a lot of other coffee shops. Would highly recommend!"

"we have our meals in the abb. of the eating and weinflug was excellent as the service. Unfortunately, they had pulled some bookings into the bistro, so there was only one other table in the restaurant, which meant that there was not much atmosphere, but that did not distract from the great food."
