"We booked this restaurant for my Mum's 65th birthday as it is local to my Sister and I we had both been before but not for a while. The food was excellent, good portion sizes, a nice variety on the menu and really tasty. The only thing that let it down was the service we received. There was only one lady front of house and maybe she was having a bad day but I don't think my family and I have ever felt less welcomed into a restaurant. We had two babies with us and I had requested a high chair prior to our arrival however there wasn't one at the table when we arrived and we had to ask for one, which seemed like a bit of an inconvenience for her to organise. We both struggled in through the door with our buggies, whilst the waitress/ manager looked on (didn't offer to help). We weren't told about the specials, offered dessert or coffee and nothing was delivered with a smile. We did leave a tip but this was for the kitchen, I do hope they receive it. It was a real shame it turned out this way as the food was lovely but I doubt any of us will be back."

Tuesday's Tanzanian dinner was very good, as always. We look forward to others in the themed series.

Brazilian fish stew was a talking point and a big hit! Crispy lamb starter was shared but wished I had it all to myself!

We went to First Coasr for our anniversary on the recommendation of a friend. The restaurant was busy, staff friendly and the food was good. Very good value for money for city centre. First Coast is certainly worth a visit.

I'm here last lunch with colleagues. despite its middle Christmas party season, the service was very good and the staff nice and friendly. my food was excellent and everyone else had the same opinion about his own dishes. I had the rindergyro to start and pork baked with polnta, erbsenapfel and parmesan as my main. my chief took the bill and made my visit even better. I have to go back with my friend. Question.

I went to First Coast on Friday with my friend for a quick bite to eat before heading on to see a show. I was a little bit early, but the staff made me feel really welcome, quickly offering me a wine (which was much needed). When my friend arrived, we opted for the Set Menu she had soup and pork and I had grilled watermelon and feta then the pork. The plate sizes were full, and given it was around £13.00 pp, excellent value for money. My friend went on to have the ice cream and I regret not joining her it looked fantastic. With a handy setting, and lovely decor, First Coast was somewhere I hadn't been before, but will make a point of going to again.

as they would expect from the name, makes first coast fish very good. I had that when I was here a year ago. recently I was here with the work crew for a Christmas dinner. we decided to get out of the Christmas dinner. my colleagues went for starter and main thing while I decided to net and dessert. the starter (gyros) looked good. my head was the porkback, which was nicely cooked, rich, but excessively so, and full of taste. for dessert, I decided for the chocolate mousse with orange-yellow, which was different and delicious. a very pleasant experience, attentive service and a peaceful environment. in any case it is worth finding out if they want to eat in the opposite.

the meal I had on the first coast was one of the best meal I had for a long time while eating fresh, perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. from Monday to Friday between 17 o'clock and 18:30 o'clock they offer an early dinner with each main course for £9.95, two courses for £12.50, or three courses for £15.50, which is very reasonable when considering the quality of food. I had fennel and soup to begin, which was beautiful and the mushroom goulash for my main what was amazing. a rich and tasty sauce with baby potatoes, courgette, incredibly delicious dumplings with a few puppy sour creams. the portion size was on the small side, so I would definitely recommend at least two courses.
