"Chinese dim sum near Little Venice in England? Sign me up this is what London is all about! Having grown up in San Francisco where you can find dim sum places throughout the city, I find myself craving a little part of home every now and then in my adopted home of Germany. Let's just say that discovering Pearl Liang during my vacation to London has been the most authentic experience so far. Admittedly, the restaurant is a bit hard to get to, though it should be convenient if you want to plan a stroll by the canals on a nice day or work in the area. I immediately noticed the tastefully posh interior as soon as I walked in. (Thankfully, it wasn't indicative of the prices! I visited Pearl Liang twice: once for a weekend lunch and once for a weekday dim sum lunch. I'd recommend coming on a weekday not only is service quicker, but you can also order the 10 item dim sum platter for £12.80, which offers classics ranging from har gow to shu mai as well as a grapefruit and mango tapioca dessert. The dim sum was just as delicious as anything I could have ordered back home in San Francisco, and, well, pretty much the same price as well. Don't skip the noodles either! We also had the braised e fu noodles with seafood. Offering a slightly spicy kick, it was full of flavor and fish to boot."

"great place, from beginning to end we could not mistake this restaurant, the employees make them feel comfortable and take care of the moment they arrive. the food we have ordered was the £30 a head gosforth palace banquet, there is a good choice to choose its served piping hot and it was all delicious, also good size fractions. the employees are very confident and attentive and ensure that they have everything they need. well made to all employees for a great night we will definitely recommend to family and friends and we will be back soon."

"ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. GO TO REGENT GARDEN. I spent £95 on an order for collection. Chu chin chow got my order wrong and when I rang them they told me it was my mistake but they would re send the order. The order arrived. Then 2 men turned up late at night demanding money £8.20) that had to be paid. This money had already been paid. To send men to my house revving their engines in a quiet cul-de-sac with children sleeping is unacceptable and incredibly poor customer service. The manager was incredibly rude and condescending. To make things worse, the only reason we ordered from them was because regent garden was closed. Go to regent garden and please avoid at all costs."

"This is our go-to Chinese takeout spot and we often order from here for pickup! The food is delicious, well-prepared, and appears to be clean (although sometimes the meat can be a bit fatty). Our usual order consists of salt and pepper chips, crispy shredded beef, chicken fried rice (similar to special fried rice but with smaller pieces of meat), and any type of chow mein (all of them are delicious, it's hard to choose!). The appetizers are also tasty! I'm not sure why they only have 3.9 stars, because we can't find any faults with their food and I am quite particular. Just ask my friend!"

"Group of 13 booking for Sat 7pm. We were seated on time and place was clean and had a good atmosphere. Then everything went downhill! We asked which dishes were Halaal and the waitress was unsure so called another waiter. We were told only the chicken was Halaal. A couple of the group were vegetarian so we all choose vegetarian hot and sour soup for starters. The starters took 45 min to arrive. One of the group thought it contain meat so called the waiter and to our horror we were told the soup we had been served contained PORK and apologised for the error. Eating PORK is unacceptable for Muslims and eating MEAT is unacceptable to vegetarians. We should have got up and left at that stage, but stayed on and it took another 45 mins to get the mains. There is a real issue with any restaurant where incorrect food is served. We will never visit this place again and I wanted to share the bad service we received."

"Great, in fact fantastic food. The restaurant had a very casual and relaxing feel to it, which I liked. The decor is a bit cheesy but that's the nature of the beast. Apart from us there were over 20 other patrons, all Chinese. Obviously you feel reassured of food quality if actual Chinese people are frequenting the restaurant and having a good time. If I had to picky, I'd say the main waiter, with the ear ring!, needs to cheer up a little. At least look like you enjoy the job mate...."

"The restaurant has delicious food and friendly staff. We first tried it a year ago when our usual Friday night spot was closed, and we haven't returned to our old place since. We always order from Wok Express through Deliveroo. The staff is always friendly and the food is consistently delicious. Be sure to try the gold lucky cookies when they are available, they are the best I've ever had. Not only are the messages sweet, but they taste amazing too!"

"There was a gluten-free menu with many options available at the restaurant. The staff discussed with us what options we could have, but seemed a bit confused. While the rest of our group ordered a set meal, there was no set meal for gluten-free options, so we ordered starters and mains separately. This resulted in us waiting for food while everyone else ate. The duck starter was delicious, served with chili sauce instead of hoisin and lettuce leaves for wrapping. It was missing cucumber and spring onion, which the rest of our group had with their duck course. The main courses were tasty, including mango prawns, chicken, and vermicelli. When inquiring about gluten-free desserts, the waiter initially mentioned brownie cheesecake and another option, but upon further inquiry, he informed us that none of the desserts were gluten-free. Despite this confusion, the food was excellent and we are confident that the meals we were served were gluten-free, although it seemed that the waiters may not have fully understood the concept."

"Our visit was for a birthday meal. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was good. We chose quite spicy dishes. The food was not piled high (thank goodness) but in reasonable sized portions. "Very relaxing experience, cute decor and a pleasant atmosphere. One thing you will notice is the hot plate in the centre of the table, which is very handy but don't touch it. :D First thing I noticed on the table were the Chopsticks. They were made from high quality bambo, very unusual design. Food portion is more than enough for an individual. The taste is lovely and rich, with friendly service. So what are you waiting for? "I recently revisited this Chinese restaurant in Finnieston before a night out and was not disappointed. The interior may be basic, but the food more than makes up for it. Seeing Chinese students dining in was a good sign and indicated that the food was authentic. I tried the Chicken and Black Bean dish this time, and it was delicious. It seems like they may have a new chef, but the taste was still just as great as I remembered. The portions were generous and filled me up nicely before a few drinks. My friends tried the crispy shredded beef, which was also a large portion. I will definitely be returning soon."

"I put my email in December for six people including one wheelchair user I was quite pacific remind request when we arrived at the restaurant there is no accessible entrance no mobile ramp and we had to get my guest up to steps with now with no help and support from the restaurant staff when I raise this with the staff they totally ignored it and blanked me is is unfortunate as restaurant is very good food is good but the access is not acceptable in the year 2018 please ensure they have a portable ramp available for wheelchair users and people unable to use Tips . "I was impressed at the speed with which dishes arrived though my friends did start ordering a few minutes before I got to the table and the tables were generally big enough to have an array of dishes on without taking over! The Chinese New Year menu had some great dishes e.g. mushroom the moss looked like hairball from a drain plug ' ' BUT standout was the Hainanese ? chicken with rice garlic dip!! I opted to have Pu 'reh tea because it seems more appropriate than a glass of wine etc. Very pleasant décor which gives character but doesn 't distract from the food."
