"Tonight I had one of my worst experience with Chinese food so far and as an Asian, I’ve tried quite a few Chinese restaurants around the world. This one is way overrated!! The best thing about it is the location, right at the entrance of China town. The second best thing is that they serve your dishes pretty fast despite the crowd. We ordered 4 dishes and the only one acceptable was dimsum. Btw for dinner they didn’t have all the choices for dimsum and the “night menu” ones are more expensive than regular ones. I don’t know their difference though as I ordered dimsum assortiment (8 pieces) from Hot appetisers instead. Our 3 other dishes were total failures: Spare ribs with sambal sauce were too dry; Baked salted chicken was half-cooked and Fried rice with seafood and meat DID NOT HAVE ANY TASTE, like they didn’t even season it with salt. Overall I was very disappointed, in total we paid £62.5 for two people which was not worth at all. I really didn’t understand why people queue to eat here!"

The service is very unfriendly and not attention to the client during the service. The food was low quality and overpriced! The duck was very fat and not well cut. Only decent plate were the dim sum !

Lovely traditional Chinese food with quiet, polite waiters. We had the Set Menu 3 course meal and struggled to finish between the two of us plenty of food. The duck was carved at the table which was a nice touch.

Great food amazing staff and the ambiance is really nice. We had a mix of rice, noodles, duck and dumplings. It was very good. The portions are quite big, but the dumplings are served by a portion of three which was a bit disappointing as we were four.

Delicious Cantonese style Chinese in Chinatown London. They have set menus available to give you the opportunity to sample lots of dishes at a reasonable price. The Peking style duck was very tasty. One of the best hot and sour soups I've tasted, with prawns and it's quite spicy. View menu

Really the best restaurant in Chinatown. The food is amazing. The speed is fast the staff are friendly. It’s really buzzing with customers too. We had the cashew nut prawn and the vegetable fried rice and both came in generous proportions and it was enough for my husband and I to share. It’s the most delicious Chinese food in Chinatown I completely recommend it

Excellent dum sum. Quick to be seated, though does fill up rapidly from 12.00 onwards. Staff are very friendly and attentive, dim sum menu is standard with some nice specials. Restaurant is really clean and tidy with great decor. Note that my photos are as we are eating hence some missing dumplings! As soon as the plates started arriving at the table we started eating!

Bit of a hit and miss, depending on what you order (and we ordered a lot). The baby squids were not up to par. Neither was the beef balls, which lacked texture and density. The roast duck and the tripe, however, were delightful, as was the mango pudding. The chives and prawn dumpling was good, but the siumay felt unfresh. I expected more from Orient, but it's still a fine place for weekend yumcha. The 12.5% service charge, which annoyingly seems to be applied as standard these days, is undeserving for the robotic, monotone service. View menu

Orient London is a popular Chinese restaurant in Chinatown, London. It offers a wide range of authentic Chinese cuisine, including dim sum. I recently had the opportunity to try their dim sum, and I was very impressed. The dishes were all freshly prepared and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the har gow (shrimp dumplings), and the siu mai (pork dumplings). The service at Orient London was also good. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu. Overall, I had a great experience at Orient London. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Chinese meal.

Found this Restaurant through Google search sore head 4.1 Star rating in reviews . So book for my wife’s birthday arrived at the restaurant and was directed to the seating found that the seats were low. Place my order for wonton soup was later told there was none didn’t think it takes a lot to make soup. However ordered egg fried rice and after seeing the small bowl portion decided to change. Ordered a platter of roast pork with crispy roast pork upon arriving The crispy roast pork looked like it was boiled the ends were not crispy and salted the roast pork seem very dry and not red marinated did take a picture and we did not enjoy half was left we brought it back in a food container for loc...
