"Our experience was lovely! Our waiter Marcel was very kind and answered any questions we had. We were cautious about our spending as even though this was a special occasion as we're students but the prices weren't as bad as we were expecting. Our two mains cost £15 20 each which we shared and we also purchased a starter for £10. We weren't too fussed about purchasing drinks or dessert. We were lucky to get a table seat and a complimentary birthday dessert! The food was good but not the best we had eaten (but the vegetable rice was incredible) was mainly there for the beautiful view. The overall restaurant is very pretty and was dimly lit for ambiance. Only downside was we were sat next to a very large group who were very loud I wish the bigger tables for many guests were more sectioned off? The other side of the restaurant was very quiet but we didn't want to risk losing a table view. In short, it's an amazing experience but I wouldn't come here very often, only for special occasions. Also, we asked to get the service charge off and they kindly agreed."

"After giving the below review, I've discovered that this restaurant has a hygiene rating of 1 star and in need of major improvements. They do not display this anywhere in their window (I guess for a reason). So just FYI especially since COVID, as a lot of people are weary of eating out. So we visited on a Saturday and it was our first time coming here. Saw the good reviews so thought we'd check it out. Cleanliness and atmosphere in front of house was good, it's very different to your typical traditional Chinese restaurant. I would say it's more modern and with a more western feel, and everything down to the cutlery and food is very well presented. The food itself were reasonable prices but compared to your traditional Chinese restaurant you're probably getting less for your money's worth. When to comes to the taste I would say it's very average. To be honest I didn't like many of the dishes (which are dishes we always order at other restaurants). The Char Siu pork pastry arrived piping hot and the pastry was chewy and not flaky, it had obviously been put in the microwave and for too long. The Thai style chicken feet was very sour, and you get approximately 5 pieces in a dish. My favourite dish which is the Chinese doughnut in cheung fun was soft and soggy even before putting the soy sauce on, you also only get 1 row, compared to your usual 3 in standard restaurants. The Vietnamese spring roll which looked crispy were not, instead they were chewy and for some reason they seem to over season this with A LOT of black pepper to the point where that was all we could taste. The only decent dish was really the fried calamari. All in all I personally would never come back here for dim sum, there are much better choices in China town for this. Not sure what their dinner service is like as we've not tried so can't comment on that, but dim sum is definitely a no from me. Might I add that we both were also not feeling well after eating here. In a nutshell, looks good, taste bad."

"Excellent food (dim sum) as always. Outstanding service unobtrusive but there when needed. I dropped a chopstick and before I could look for a waiter a replacement was being offered to me. A little disappointed the custard tarts were not on the dessert menu but the menu does change regularly and the other choices were all good. My husband enjoyed the unexpected combination of the matcha brulee and blood orange sorbet exceedingly. Brilliant view across the park A little more attention needed at the bar as not all those at the start of the lunch service are waiting for tables and I had to ask for the cocktail menu. Cocktails a little pricey. I have been using this restaurant for over 10 years and it's always a joy."

"I had a fantastic meal at this restaurant. The Cantonese cuisine was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. The location was also convenient. I highly recommend trying their fried noodles and BBQ pork belly with rice."
