"My partner and I decided to try this restaurant for dinner one evening, as we live nearby. When we arrived, our table wasn't ready, so we were directed to sit at the bar. Unfortunately, our experience at the bar was subpar - it took a long time to place our order and our drinks never arrived. We were looking forward to enjoying them at the bar, which offers a lovely view of Kensington Gardens. Once we were seated at our table, the service improved significantly. The waitstaff were great and attentive. The standout of the evening, however, was the food. The dishes were truly amazing and stole the show. The ambiance of the restaurant was also pleasant. Despite the initial hiccup at the bar, I would still give this restaurant 5 stars. It's possible that we just arrived during a busy time for the bar. I would definitely consider dining here again!"

I really loved all of the food choices. Very beautiful view. There are various foods such as buns, dumplings and noodles! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Chinese restaurant with superb views over Kensington Gardens. The charcoal roast duck is the best. It's their signature dish, and need to pre order. The soft shell crab was just okay good size portion, but a bit soggy! Other dishes were fine, but nothing special. Not cheap, but something different for a special occasion (a birthday in our case .

We dined at this restaurant for our anniversary. It holds a special place in our hearts as we had our wedding reception here. It was very nostalgic to return and reminisce about those memories. The service was excellent as always and the food was delectable. We were even surprised with a little extra treat after our meal in celebration of our anniversary. We can't wait to return next year, if not sooner! View menu

Mixed feelings. The service is good and the view is lovely. We had the roasted duck and it’s lovely. Their own version with garlic sauce is amazing. But I would really appreciate if you had some more of the ”toppings”. What they are missing is that the second serving was not good. We had the one with noodles. And it was simply boring. The restaurant is in need of renovation and the toilets was not clean and not to my satisfaction.

The best Peking duck I have ever had in London! It is a must-order if you visit this restaurant. The chef carves the roast duck in front of you and the pancakes served with it are freshly made with a delicious selection of sauces. You can also choose how you want the remaining duck meat to be prepared. We opted for the fried rice, which was also very good. The dim sum was tasty as well. The service was excellent and you can dine with an amazing view. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This remain my most favourite Chinese restaurant in London. Not only because of the food and the view being on the top floor of the Royal Garden Hotel overlooking the Kensington Gardens and Kensington Palace. The service is always solid and good. Good selection and extensive list of wine menu. Their signature dish is Peking Duck. You should order it in advance to avoid disappointment. The restaurant is very popular, so do book a couple of months in advance if you want a table before 9pm. Food 9/10, service 9/10, ambience 9/10, value for money 9/10. View menu

Really enjoyed this place. Due to the covid restrictions, I have not been able to travel and have been missing China greatly. This place took me back there from the food to the interiors it all felt intentional and authentic. The view is mesmerising at night, especially in winter when the Winter Wonderland is on. Dim sum was superb and I truly enjoyed it. It was well balanced and light. We also ordered half duck it is sliced in front of you and makes up three dishes: duck skin with sugar, duck fillet with translucent wheat pancakes and a third of your option we went for a soup. Duck was a bit fatty for me but I know it is the traditional way. The pancakes worked really well with the fillets...

We went to Min Jiang specially for their Peking duck. I got to admit that their first course of duck skin and meat wrapped with their own wrap was lovely. It even came with their own homeMade min Jiang specialty sauce. I wasn’t too impressed by their second course of duck meat with iceberg lettuce. It felt as if the second course was more of an appetizer and in all my experience of having Peking duck, I raise questions about the size and width of their second course that really dropped my experience from a good to a borderline hmmm. I’ve attached photos for those around to judge as I had better San choy bao as a second course else where before. If the restaurant can better their second cours...
