"My partner and I were really looking forward to this meal. She mentioned that she hadn't had Chinese food in a while and wanted to satisfy her craving. Unfortunately, this wasn't the right place for it. The food was just average, and while the service was decent, the atmosphere felt lacking since it was a midweek visit. However, when we received the bill, I found it quite excessive for what we had. Overall, it was a bit of an anticlimax and didn't convince me to choose Chinese over a Thai meal."

"the firefighter offers a spicy alternative to the otherwise bare and blanching alternatives in and around milbank towers. I just tried the food offers. the idea was to try every combination. now, I find the meal offers the best value for money in the restaurant. just letting was the huh teriyaki it was sweeter than usual. food 3.5/5 service 4/5 ambiente 3/5 the seat is comfortable, but the interiors are too dark for my pleasure. I recommend this place"

"COELIAC We ordered a takeaway on route to the New Forest for our holiday. I found this gem from reccomendations from social media after lots of coeliac said they do a Gluten free menu and treat allergies very seriously. We ordered so much food as I took advantage of not having had a chinese in sooooooo long but this was SO GOOD and generally one of the best Chinese’s I have ever had. (Please get the Singapore noodles salt and chilli chicken they were to die for!!!!! We had our campervan and they even let us sit and eat our takeaway in the van in the carpark. "We used to live in Greenwich about five years ago and dined at the Nude Restaurant every week. I absolutely adore this place. After moving away from Greenwich, the only thing we miss about the town is this restaurant. Last week, I returned to Greenwich with my wife and we went back to the restaurant. It was so heartwarming to see that everything was still the same. We enjoyed our lunch there just as much as before. This restaurant will always hold a special place in our hearts."

"menu had a vegan option under each category (e.g. roasted rice, nudel soup) so had a choice, but meal times were mainly the same for each carb group (ok, if they were lust on tempo) had the nudel soup was very bland and uninspiring, but at least contained a lot of fresh veg. jumping were also good. my main complaint is that the employees seemed to know what ignorant what was actually in the food, and apparently not to find. for example, I asked to separate the personal when the erdnus sauce and the bananenfritter (without ice) were vegan and they only pointed out that it had no ve' symbol next to it, so that they thought it was not (as I can not read the menu itself.) but the rice/sweet chili sauce/ other side had not taken any ve', but were taken as part of other vegans. no further attempt was made by the employees to find out what they contained, despite the question. determined to avoid only the case and go without dessert this time."

"I visited Siamais Broad Street for a Sunday afternoon meal. It was quite quiet at that time, but the host provided excellent service. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, with a wide variety of options on the menu. The brunch menu, however, lacks cocktail choices, so I wouldn’t recommend it for that. The setting is lovely, making it a great spot for a date night, especially since it’s close to many nice bars in Brindley Place. The only downside is the price, which is on the higher side, but that’s typical for Birmingham. Overall, I definitely recommend this restaurant. "I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The place was extremely clean and the food was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. I was happy to see that they serve Coke Zero in cans, or you can also have unlimited refills from the soda fountain. The pakoras were not left in a bain marie, so they were not soggy like at some buffet places. I had low expectations going in, but I left very impressed. I will definitely be returning. I only tried the Indian food and a small slice of pizza, as nothing from the Chinese selection caught my eye. They also had pasta dishes and Thai curry, so there is something for everyone."

"Whilst in the capital for the fringe, my friend i decided on having some chinese food for lunch..Wish we hadnt!! Came across The Golden Dragon, looked lovely from the outside, very dated inside...Not a great selection on the menu the daily specials board, seems to have been the same daily specials for quite some time, going by some of the photos posted by previous diners... we decided on chicken satay fried rice, sweet n sour chicken boiled rice, portion of prawn crackers, we didnt have any starters, 1 diet coke 1 small glass of water... the food wasnt that great to be honest for the extortionate cost, the satay was tasteless chicken was quite rubbery.. The rice arrived in small silver dishes, was actually very stodgy, like it had been over boiled... we ate what we ate asked for the bill.... £53!!!! the rice wasnt included in the cost of the chicken dishes, seriously must be the dearest rice in scotland, there was literally 3 spoonfuls in each silver pot!! 3 young lads at next table all had rice dishes, no starters a portion of curry sauce chips, also a beer each, they're bill was over £90!!! Certainly wont be rushing back to Golden Dragon next time i'm in Edinburgh!!"

"A friendly welcome, prompt service and excellent, food,had dimsum and squid for appetizers plus Calamari, superb except the Calamari, which was a little hard and dry, the dim-sum was of the highest standard. Mainly there were garlic PacChoi, sweets and sour pork, and seafood in black bean sauce, all super, no desserts offered, would have been happy with candychee! Ambience could be better, the restaurant was a bit cold and the lighting too hard, comfortable chairs and tables, all in all a very nice meal, we will be back!"

"My wife and two of our friends visited this establishment on Saturday 4th of May. My experience at this restaurant was both good and bad however the bad overweighted the good. We had only sat down and in less than a minute a young man asked us if we were ready to order drinks (we hadn’t even looked at the menu) the same man asked us a total of 3 times within 5/10 minutes if we were ready to order, which made us feel rushed. Our starters arrived fast and we enjoyed them. We had then got warm plates for our main course, however we sat with the plates and no food for about 5 minutes which didn’t make sense as our plates were then cold and noticed that this was a common occurrence within the restaurant as a few other tables seemed to have been sitting with empty plates. The food itself was flavourful and was high quality. The views of the water are beautiful. The atmosphere was lively and staff were friendly however some seemed rushed as the girl who served us our food physically ran back down the restaurant this along with being rushed to order was not polite. Overall our food and drinks were delicious and our interactions with most of the staff was pleasant."

"Gone downhill, sadly. This is our third visit, the previous takeaways we’ve bought exceeded our expectations and were worth the extra distance from our home town. Yes, the crudely constructed covid floor to ceiling barriers together with airlock hatches for making payments and receiving food seem a bit disrespectful of their customers when the pandemic is officially over. Also if you are going to be paranoid in 2023 about covid, why do you accept cash only and are happy to touch it and count it? But that is their personal preference and if they provide a good service I will happily pass my (possibly infected) money through the hatch. Sadly the standard on this visit was a 2 star. Everyone has a bad day sometimes, the previous visits would be 5 star rated. The staff I saw weren’t the same this time so perhaps some key personnel were on holiday or the business has been sold on? If I see the lady from before behind the counter again I’ll give it another try, but on the basis of the last visit I couldn’t recommend it."

"Quite a friendly welcome, pleasant garden overlooking the Atlantic, pretty flowers and shrubs. A pub dog called Pablo (I think) who wanders around quite happily! But the top, top thing here is the food. We came in for a drink and ended up eating lunch in the garden: excellent game pie, really good filling, a mound of chips and vegetables. Kashmiri lamb curry with a lot of rice, a couple of pieces of naan And a selection of three sauces. Absolutely stuffed, we need to go and have a lie down! This is not the first time we’ve eaten here, we will definitely come again"

"The peking duck was excellent almost matching what I would have in Beijing. Daily soup was fantastic although feeling that it's not worth the price paid (their restaurant next door serves the daily soup at half the price per head and it's just as good). Vegetable was a standard affair, with the tofu a bit of a twist from the normal version they serve next door."

"I ordered shrimp fried rice, but when I got back, it was prawn fried rice, which had no flavor and was bland. I specifically ordered shrimp because it’s much tastier! I also ordered BBQ spare ribs, but they were mostly coated in hoisin sauce instead of BBQ sauce. The prawn toast was deep-fried and came out dark brown and burned. This was a disappointing experience for us, especially since we are not locals and visit several times a year for vacation. We’ll be trying elsewhere next time, as we didn’t get what we asked for.
