We went as group of 15 on Christmas office party. The food supplied for group booking was only enough for about 10 despite us all filling in what we wanted 2 weeks before hand. The food was cold and in effect was awful and to top it all I've been Ill for 2 days since Would never go back ever

Usually when a Chinese restaurant allows people to maraud tunelessly through 90s classics at the end of a meal it means only one thing: The food is ****. Bizarrely though at Firecracker the food is not, at all. In fact I’d go so far as to say it’s one of the better Chinese restaurants in London…

Ordered on justeat. Delivery was well before time. +1 Dimsums were very bland and cold. They only sent chilli sauce and nothing else. -1 The egg fried rice, green curry and mixed veg were very good. I asked them to make it spicy and they didn't disappoint. +3 Good value for money. All for 17. +1

Excellent. I had a couple of 'small ' dishes and a main. Probably too much. But the food was excellent and I worked my way through it. Beware on 2 occasions I have shown up to dinner to find the venue 'closed for a private party '. On one of those occasions I had walked past earlier in the day and there was no sign up. Ring ahead.

the firefighter offers a spicy alternative to the otherwise bare and blanching alternatives in and around milbank towers. I just tried the food offers. the idea was to try every combination. now, I find the meal offers the best value for money in the restaurant. just letting was the huh teriyaki it was sweeter than usual. food 3.5/5 service 4/5 ambiente 3/5 the seat is comfortable, but the interiors are too dark for my pleasure. I recommend this place

okay, eating that we ordered was crispy egg pack (peking duck), chicken and pork kere and singaporean rice noodles. the rice noodles were the only article that was in order. the package was not even dampened! when someone saw a miraculous outer wrap, that was the wrap. the duck is actually suspected to be its crispy skin. they served us overcooked duck bits. only worse than peking! We think they can't screw up. the spits were chewy like gum. I didn't want to order anything else than I was scared. but we were in the karaoke room that made fun. eating was a sweat.

Surprisingly good... great fun.. I visited Firecracker with my work colleagues for a late Christmas party. Not to far from Westminster Tube Station and hidden out of the way is probably one of the best Chinese restaurant I have been too in recent years. When my colleagues explained that it was a Karaoke venue I was half expecting a average buffet Chinese where we would have to be subjected to the screeching of the general public while eating off plastic table cloths. I couldn 't have been further from the truth if I had tried. After a 3 month wait i finally managed to get a table and a karaoke room in Firecracker! Im assuming we had to book so in advance because there are only 3 karaoke rooms in the restaurant. Let me tell you, it was totally worth the wait! The rooms were spacious and set up beautifully, although the lights were dimmed it didn't make it feel tacky but instead gave the place a fun chilled atmosphere. The food was goregoussss! I cant remember what exactly i had because we all shared. The service and staff were friendly and patient, especially as we waited quite a while for everyone to get there. It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a reliable Chinese takeaway service that can become his go to choice on a Saturday night. Over the years, I have developed a theory that whilst a quality pizza delivery place is not difficult to find, and a quality Indian joint is rare, but can exist, a quality Chinese takeaway the sort that stands out from the crowd and warrants numerous return visits is the thing of myth and legend. It's a pleasure to finally be proven wrong. Firecracker is a restaurant first, and a takeaway second.
