"My wife and I traveled from Scotland to celebrate our wedding anniversary with a meal, courtesy of my elder brother. The restaurant was 80% full but we were seated promptly. The staff was friendly and helpful, answering all of our questions. We ordered 3 starters to share and 3 main dishes with rice noodles. The starters arrived in 15 minutes and were excellent. The mains arrived 10 minutes after the starters were cleared and were also delicious. The food was great, the atmosphere was excellent, and the staff provided top-notch service. "amazing eating as always their crispy chili tofu aubergine and tofu are amazing! I personally love the ambiente, it's just the right thing for what it is. the service is in the regular fit, but the last time we went there, the waiter the plates down, was rude to some friends on our table snapped and was impatient. our attempt to mention that to another waiter at the end (or was it a manager, I hope not) was shot, laughed and essentially ignored. great eating, good ambiente, terrible service. pity."

"My friend and I decided to meet up for some Vietnamese food at a restaurant called Caphe. We were able to quickly make a reservation for 7.30pm on a Saturday, and when we arrived, we were surprised to find that the restaurant was nearly empty. The service was basic, and the young waiter seemed a bit tactless when I mentioned my severe prawn allergy. Despite this, the portions were good value for money, although the broth in my PHO was too salty. We had to remind the staff twice to refill our tea pot and water. Unfortunately, the salad we ordered still came out with prawn crackers on top, which was concerning given my allergy. Overall, our experience at Caphe was average, and we're not sure if the lack of customers was due to the service or other factors."

"Delicious as always! I had a nice soft, slender piece of lamb roast, which was really delicious, with crispy roasts and a huge Yorkie! Terrible. "enjoy a nice late lunch on the terrace in the sunshine. the food was delicious, service was friendly. it is a large restaurant with lots of space. there is a good choice of drinks. it is at the top end of the price scale (for Thai food) and I am not sure that the full experience with what they calculate would say it is more expensive than I expected it to be. there were 75 pounds each, for a starter, a main,- a cocktail and a half bottle of wine (one of the cheaper bottles.)"

"We had the pleasure of enjoying great food at The Ninth last week. We shared 8 different dishes and all were deliciously and thoughtfully prepared. The Barbajuan, oxtail croquettes and sourdough bread and butter were enticing appetizers which we followed with Panzanella and fromage Fran’s. The panzanella combination was deliciously fresh. Our rabbit and Osso Buco tortellini should have topped u off but we were glad we overindulged with the amazing desserts of Pain Perdu and White peaches. I would go again for the wonderful texture of the Sourdough and Pain Perdu alone. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the food and most accommodating. I was sadly too excited about the food to remember his name."

"The portion size is small and the cost for such small portions is high. The suggested three items per diner make it a thirty pounds per head experience. "I went here with my gf for mum, I really enjoyed it and it seems dona good trade supply food to all the demand I saw to eat a series of chaps. the dimme sum was freshly tasting, it was very tasty and I sometimes underestimated how temperature hot it would be and I had to wait until I had to cool down. I'm from hongkong and I was impressed with the food. the ribs had a beautiful sauce they had in their mouth tender flesh. the siu mai well made and freshly made. the crispy pork bauchnabel bao was beautiful because the skin was so delicious and crispy in a white bao. the sweet fish cakes were so pleasant I ordered two plates. the dizzying dumplings were very well filled. they had nothing sweet, which I would recommend, because the fried milk bars were not on camp. excellent service the ladies there were so beautiful and polite. they made sure we were good at lunch.
