"Disgusting experience, saw the reviews were ok on tripadvisor and thought we would give it a go, how wrong of us Start to finish the service was very very poor, lack of manners and not even a friendly face or anything but we didn’t...mind too much as we understand how stressful hospitality can be The lack of hygiene really was shocking I felt dirty and embarrassed to be in there and to top it off a lovely hair in my food, definitely not mine either no one seemed to care about this and it was just shrugged off, great to know the kitchens are being kept well"

"We were warmly welcomed and drinks served quickly. Good advice given regarding the menu that was most interesting (not many Chinese restaurants have green lipped mussels) and portions so no wastage."

"Our visit was for a birthday meal. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was good. We chose quite spicy dishes. The food was not piled high (thank goodness) but in reasonable sized portions. We like to leave a restaurant wanting more not uncomfortably full or with a bag full of leftovers and that's exactly how it was. Will definitely book again."

"Hearty and hot Chinese food in central London. This restaurant serves home style dishes from the Sichuan and Hunan regions of China. Judging by how many young Chinese diners it had attracted on a Sunday evening they are onto something. To be fair there are a few items on the menu which may prove a tough sell to those not brought up on China's nose to tail approach to eating. However, for those of a less adventurous nature there are plenty of well executed favourites such as twice cooked pork, Gongbao chicken and deep fried green beans. Staff were friendly and helpful, even offering to arrange referrals to doctors of Chinese medicine, and we heard that they have private rooms...read more"

"TPT Street Hawker Stall This busy restaurant in Chinatown is a good weird fix when craving Malaysian/ Singaporean food. The black hokkien noodle was spot on. Morning glory with fermented bean was tasty. Not sure about the la la soup very weird flavoring in it, like it’s got Indian influences. Disappointed with the butter prawn.. it had cornflakes inside of egg floss !! The Tofu pudding was the highlight of the night. So smooth, unfortunately you have to pay the overly price for it!!"

"I put my email in December for six people including one wheelchair user I was quite pacific remind request when we arrived at the restaurant there is no accessible entrance no mobile ramp and we had to get my guest up to steps with now with no help and support from the restaurant staff when I raise this with the staff they totally ignored it and blanked me is is unfortunate as restaurant is very good food is good but the access is not acceptable in the year 2018 please ensure they have a portable ramp available for wheelchair users and people unable to use Tips . Accessible toilet was full of cleaning equipment and other rubbish so is unable to be used by my guest this is very disappointing on the whole the whole evening was good but will be even better if people I thought what was needed in making sure We all. has an enjoyable evening"

"I was impressed with the speed with which the dishes arrived, although my friends began to order a few minutes before the table, and the tables were generally large enough to have a number of dishes without taking over! The Chinese New Year menu had some great dishes, e.g. mushroom the moss looked like hairball from a drain plug '' BUT standout was the hainanese? chicken with rice garlic diving!!! I decided to have Pu 'reh tea because it seems better suited than a glass of wine etc. Very pleasant decor that gives character but does not distract from food."
"First of all I would give a 0 stars if I could. I feel like I have just eat part of a cat . Totally inedible absolutely rank disgusting and filth I really wish I had read the reviews before ordering from here. This is possibly not just the worst Chinese I have ever attempted to eat but actually the worst meal I have ever Eaton. Absolutely shocking of a place it needs shutting down. Tried to call them and I’m explaining how poor the food was and all they could say was your food is out for delivery yeeeee’ erm no love the food is in my kitchen bin. Absolutely filthy I strongly avoid and recommend no body eat here I wouldn’t even feed this food to a homeless person it would just be bang out of order to do so. Oh and I ordered vegetable spring rolls please tell me why it had meat inside????? SHUT IT DOWN"

"We were seated by the window which was lovely and seen to within minutes but my only remark would be it was very rushed so you never had time to enjoy every course before the next one was out infront of you. Therefore our main course was wasted, although we were offered a take out box. So we would have enjoyed it more if it was not so rushed."

"First time at Sawadika having found online and picked due to good reviews. Dining area is clean and contemporary with plenty of Thai influence but not a super authentic set up. Plenty of space on tables and between diners. Staff were attentive and professional while being friendly and casual as you’d happen for with a good Thai place. The service was swift, the food was terrific and the restaurant made the setting for an enjoyable night. Prices are reasonable for London but are cheap for the quality of food you’re served. Would gladly go here again, and fully intend to do so."

"This Chinese takeout place, run by a lovely family, is situated on Seaside Road. It offers generous portion sizes at a reasonable price."
"Family of 4 had a nice night here but had to Score this as average as even though we had a nice time the food was nice it just wasn’t as nice as a few of the other places we normally go and the service wasn’t exactly great. The staff seemed to be offended when they were asked questions or for additional food drinks. If the food had been amazing I wouldn’t have minded the price and automatic service charge."
"This is a superb chinese cuisine dining experience. From the moment you arrive, you are ushered to your table by attentive, friendly staff. The menu is huge with many authentic ethnic dishes .There is a huge seafood choice but there is something for everyone. We just had to have the obligatory Prawn crackers, warm and crispy as they should be.The perfect starter for the tastebuds.Tonight, we had the works. Fish, chicken, beef, vegetables, fried and boiled rice.Every dish was perfection. Please see photographs. At 96 Renfield St, China Blue is easy to pass by as there is just a single door on the street but a short ,unchallenging walk upstairs takes you to a huge restaurant space , the decor of which is exactly what a chinese restaurant should be. It is comfortable, classy and welcoming.Dining here will be a guaranteed rewarding experience perfect for any special occasion."
