"The restaurant is absolutely great for its taste, especially the chow mein which tastes just like home! I'm sure the other dishes are just as authentic. The ambiance is not super fancy, but it's clean and tidy with Nepalese folk music playing in the background. The space is a bit limited for larger groups since they don't use the first floor, but the staff, especially Herr Suckat, is very helpful in suggesting the best options. They even have child seats available. I really enjoyed my experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to try authentic Nepalese cuisine."

Hidden gem! This is a wonderful new find in basingstoke. Had a take-away and it was great! Great flavours and well packaged. I'll definitely be going back. Highly recommended!

The experience was fantastic. The flavors were truly authentic. Despite its small size, the restaurant has its own unique atmosphere. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow.

Couldnt believe I hadn't eaten here before. The restaurant itself is quite basic but the food was amazing. Everything was so fresh and really tasty. Price was also very good. Very relaxed atmosphere and great service. View menu

I can't believe I haven't dined at this restaurant sooner. The restaurant may be simple, but the food was outstanding. It was all incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. The prices were also very reasonable. The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was great.

Great introduction to Nepalese food, so much variety in flavour, amazing value for money. The guy serving us was knowledgeably and friendly. Overall the best place in Basingstoke I've eaten in a while. Makes it more special when it's a independent also. Would highly recommend, especially if you're veggie (a lot of options)

if they happen to visit basingstoke and want to try something new, this gurkha kitchen will serve them the mouthwater Nepalese dishes to humble preisen. we came there after 9 o'clock and were almost turned away as they did not take customers in the last hour of the business. service was very good, shoghat had good recommendations for us as the first timer and gave a look in Nepalese food. make sure they are there well before last orders for eating at 9 o'clock! This restaurant is a hidden gem! The staff is friendly and helpful, especially if you are unfamiliar with Nepalese cuisine. The food is delicious, with a variety of dishes to choose from. The momo dumplings and Gurkha curry were standout dishes. The curry meat is cooked on the bone, giving it an extra flavorful taste. Their thali is a great option to try a variety of Nepalese dishes. Additionally, there are vegetarian and vegan options available, as well as a selection of nice beers to complement your meal.

Absolutely great for the taste specially chow mein (perfect taste from home I am sure other foods too have authenticity. Ambience is not superb however it's ok neat and clean with Nepalese folk music playing in background. The space is not not great for big crowd as it has a limited space as they are not using space at first floor. The staffs particularly Mr. Saugat is really friendly to help choose and suggest you the best options available. They have child seats too. I liked it and recommend it to you if you are trying to taste authentic Nepalese food.
