"I've eaten at a few good vegetarian south Indian places (like saga and woodlands in london) and this place really gives them a run for their money. There are now a great many vegan items marked on the main menu (in the restaurant sadly not on their website yet). You can get most of what you'd want from a south Indian like dosa, vada, idly, thalis etc. If you've never yet tried South Indian then i highly recommend it, it's a bit different to standard Indian food and just as flavorful and spiced and comforting but with a few extra interesting textures. The dishes are small and cheap so but a few and share to try a bit of everything."

they need to ask the server because they do not have a separate vegan menu, but loading the items can be made vegan.

The food and service at this restaurant are fantastic! Ash, in particular, was incredibly helpful and polite. A visit here is definitely worth it. The dine-in experience for dinner is priced at £50-£60 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive top ratings of 5 stars.

great service, beautiful people and atmosphere, the most amazing crispy, flocky doses filled with masala kartoffels and served with 3 dips (see picture.) idlis (fermented rice and lens steam beans) are also very, very good. more food than we could eat comfortably for not much money. highly recommended.

I would have changed from this place on the way to the festival place, but the smell of the amazing curry has pulled us in. they clearly mark on the menu what has milk in it, so they know what is vegan friendly. I was very happy with what I ordered, aubergine and okra dishes. I would definitely return. View menu

We visited the restaurant on Diwali day without a reservation and were pleased that the staff were able to accommodate us with a warm and attentive service. The food was good, and the atmosphere was cosy. Overall, we would rate the service a 5 out of 5, the food a 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5. For vegetarians, we somewhat recommend this restaurant. The price per person for a meal was between £20 and £30.

I visited on a whim and can honestly say I was not disappointed. The only reason that I’ve scored 4 is it’s not a fully vegan restaurant. The food was incredible with lots of choices, the staff were really friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking traditional southern Indian food this really is the place for you! I would recommend the vegan veg Manchurian dry and onion pakoda. Don’t miss out on this place when in Basingstoke
