"Actually last visit was 1998 on a once a month corprate freebie from local workhouse. Lovely pub, easy offroad parking, and the Ham Egg with good company of work collegues /Reps Chips option and a pint of HSB shandy always kept the workhouse accountants happy Also done a crane 190ft bungie jump in their rear carpark, once again late 90's But that's a different story!"

Keep going back to this pub because the food is amazing. My favourite is the sweet n sour chicken so tasty. Family favourite is the Pad Thai. Really worth a visit for authentic Thai food View menu

I went to the Jolly last night with some friends and we all loved the tasty, genuine Thai cuisine. The service was friendly and efficient. Can't wait to return for more and also try their Sunday roast.

I was pleasantly surprised to find authentic Thai cuisine at this village pub. My Massaman curry was the best I've had outside of Thailand in a long time. My girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed her Pad Thai and refused to share any with me.

Nice pint and delicious food in a small but very pleasant pub. Both our main dishes were from the Thai menu, and we both enjoyed. A little less spicy than expected, but fresh and with complex flavours. Service was prompt and friendly. All made for a most enjoyable lunch. View menu

The staff were good, the food was good, the pub is very snug, i would recommend this pub to anyone passing this area to use it but would suggest booking in advance or phoning to see if they have availability. I would have scored the pub 5 out of 5 but there is something missing but I don’t know what.

I have visited The Jolly a few times now and have tried the Thai dishes each time. The food has been fantastic, with a diverse menu and ample options to choose from. The portions are very generous and the flavors are amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for those who enjoy authentic Thai cuisine.
