"Terrible customer service. At 10:50, one of the waiters came to tell us that they were closing in 10 minutes. At 10:51 they brought us the bill and then at 10:52 they started taking the payment. They were basically kicking us out of the restaurant. I removed the service charge (which is optional), for the same and they then came and took the plates away when I was STILL eating. Disgraceful and extremely poor customer service. I do NOT recommend this place at all."

"First time at Robatary. We were impressed by the service. We had two people in our group that had mobility problems and the seats allocated were not suitable, the staff had no hesitation in setting up and providing an alternative table. The service was attentive and polite without being intrusive. Once we understood how the menu was set out, the food was excellent. A friendly suggestion, the pancakes served with the duck, would be better served flat than packaged in a nice square which made them difficult to separate. We would definitely go there again."

"we have visited the Thai place several times before and always had a wonderful service and great eating and drinking. Previously there was an amazing cocktail menu and the personal was always so friendly and welcoming. at this opportunity we were very disappointed to find that the beverage menu was very reduced only 4 cocktails and 2 of them were not available) . the atmosphere in the restaurant was not the same as we visited before and the 2 employees seemed uninterested. the food was as always, amazing! full of taste and beautifully presented so that we enjoy our meal, but the evening overall was not the one we were <br looking forward . I would still recommend Thai place, since I hope our visit this time was a way out and that when we dine there again, the dinge again, as they always used to <br be ."

"The portion size is small and the cost for such small portions is high. The suggested three items per diner make it a thirty pounds per head experience. The atmosphere was nice and pleasant, and the team working in their work very hard to deliver everything promptly and provide a really good service. Not sure I'll return based on the costs."

"If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. I ordered at 6:45pm and they told me food would arrive by 8pm (which is already a very long time). When the food did come, only 3 items out of 7 were there and those 3 items were cold! I rang this place and told them the situation and they were extremely rude to me. After a while they agreed to send the missing items but it is now 2 hours later and nothing has come! I have tried to ring them for the last hour and it always says User Busy! They have stolen my money and done it with no shame! Do not order or eat from here"

"We booked Thai Orchid for a family party of six adults before going on to a Concert. It was a Saturday during Celtic Connections so the Restaurant was very busy. The service was excellent, friendly and efficient. We love Thai food and were impressed with the use of fresh herbs. We left very happy and in good time for our concert."

"hopefully not for the first time. this place was checked with a native who had heard about the grapes, it was not bad. the robbery in this case was not wrong, with siam on all flats. forget the fact that the city chester is beautiful in itself, the teppanyaki table that we sat was right next to the channel with view of the punts and boats that past the window, as the sun set the price was very reasonable for a very entertaining show with some great tasting eating at the end. due to the location of chesters and not on the maintourist path I had (unreal) assumed that the Teppanyaki cuisine would not be as good as any other I had seen. could not have been...read more"

"My husband and I visited on the first day restaurants could open post-lockdown. It was a brilliant experience! The staff were super friendly, the distancing measures were great with staff wearing masks and tables far apart and we felt very safe indeed. But most importantly, the food was delicious! We had the edamame starter and it was absolutely delicious (the sauce was to die for) and then shared a vegan burger and the vegan chilli. Both were very good and the portions were just right (not too big). Other tempting menu options were the tofu tacos, the Buddha bowl and the Japanese bowl. For dessert they have a vegan icecream sundae which you can choose your own toppings (all of them vegan except one) and a vegan brownie (this was out of stock). Their mint lemonade is also fantastic! All in all, it was a perfect evening. Their breakfast menu also looks fab so no doubt we’ll pop back for some vegan pancakes on Sunday!"

"fake indian pathetic restaurant that is not an Indian restaurant. all are fake bangladesch arrogante types. they are so rude to talk to customers that the first impression to have food is lost. they do not show any respect to the customers who enter. they cannot sit on their own faust on the choice of the original table, whatever they decide to sit hva only there. during the order they have so many conditions that each person must book a full meal, even if they do not have so much appetit. they will open their ass before british or English sides and can strip naked on their demand while serving others who feel them as they were accepted. "I 've been to this restaurant several times before but this time the food wasn 't great. Tempura vegetables weren 't tempura but a very heavy, undercooked, batter. Duck in a curry was essentially just skin and not much meat. Crispy chicken option from a stir fry dish was slimy and quite disgusting. I 'd previously raved about this place but now I think I 'll give it a miss for a while."

"Would not recommend this place at all these days. They used to be great, sending out great quality curries that were really filling. Over the past few months things have really taken a slide. The last three times I’ve ordered from them, the curry has been just. Pot of oil and a few shreds of chicken. Pretty much no actual sauce. I don’t know if they just take a bit of left over sauce from the day before and ‘rehydrate it’ with a boat load of oil and call that a good job or if they are just sending out oil in general. But after the first and second time it arriving like that I thought maybe they had a temp chef in who was doing it wrong. But on the third time of a dopiaza turning up just a pot of oil and chicken I’ve had to resign myself to the fact this place has just gone downhill and are sending out any old tat. Gave them the benefit of the doubt by ordering terrible curries three times but they’ve proven it’s not going to go back to how it was . Learn from my mistakes and don’t order here."

"Prebooked and ended up seated in the bar area as overbooked I believe , ordered drinks and food pretty much on arrival, drinks arrived, then just over an hour later told no veg available as a side, then since we waited so long to be served, over an hour by then, we were given a free drink and the services charges were removed, After all that we felt rushed to leave, e The staff could not be nicer, not their fault at all that management overbooked and let them struggle on."

"I passed by a display board outside this restaurant which showed inter alia a plate of mango sticky rice one of my favourites I was intrigued also by the fact that there was no shop front just a door leading to the downstairs restaurant. I ordered a plate of spicy aubergine, which was good and then the desired mango sticky rice. The mango was like turnip and I complained to the waiter. He admitted that that was all they had in terms of mangos. He was taking the plate away when, not liking to see things go to waste, I said I could eat some of the sticky rice with its coconut sauce and the plate was returned with that part on it. When the bill came I couldn 't believe that, instead of being charged about £8 for the mango sticky rice I was charged about £6 for the rice! I complained again and this charge was removed from the bill. When I returned home and retailed this story to my wife she reminded me that we had in fact dined at this restaurant pre Covid and had such a poor meal that we had vowed never to go there again!"

"So I’ve been here a couple times but the service is HORRENDOUS. The only reason why I’ve come back is because the food isn’t too bad.One visit a friend got the Grilled Lamb starter and it was only TWO sticks of meat for just under £5. Luckily she said they were good. The first two times I’ve been the lady at reception somehow didn’t understand I’m lactose intolerant as I mentioned it just in case there is any sign of dairy. This took about five minutes to explain, along with the fact that I don’t eat meat. Then the third time I’ve been I went to pay with my card and the (from what I’m assume) owner refused to take my card payment as it was under £10. I went on to explain that the lady has taken my card countless times in the past. He then proceeded to moan about how bad his employee is, showing me card receipts of payments he didn’t authorise. Not only did this make me uncomfortable but it also isn’t my place to be told these thkngs. I just want my food, a friendly face and to go enjoy it."

"Although we never went there, I ordered the food from this restaurant a few times and must say that it is always a very tasty leak in our budget. we had hangover noodles, veggie platter with tempoura veg, edemame bohnen, see weeds and some knödel and a laksa bowl. since Thai food goes, this is a very decent offer on the restaurant map of fulham, eating is tasty, servings are decent, very well packed (for home delivery) everything is fresh, even if the prices seem a tad on a high end of the spectrum (2 main dishes and 2 startes they will be around £40-45) the only disadvantage that the food did not come to hot. we will definitely order from this place in the future, so I recommend it with a clean certain"
