"I made a reservation online and received confirmation via email. On the day of our reservation, myself and my friends arrived at the restaurant only to be told they were fully booked. Despite showing my confirmation, the staff informed me that they had only been open for 2 weeks and were not online. After speaking with the manager, we were eventually seated at a table (despite many empty tables available). We waited an hour for our food to arrive and had to request cutlery and napkins as they were not provided. While waiting, a large table who were also waiting for their food ended up leaving. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon."

"i had walked past this place earlier in the evening and decided to pop in about 8.30 to give it a try. I was greeted at the door and asked if i wanted a table but i opted for a takeaway option. It was a monday evening and not very busy but the staff were attentive and service was nice and quick. I wasnt offered a drink whilst i waited but i didnt realise it was going to be as quick as it was so that was probably a good thing. I went for the grilled chicken Thai Green Curry from the chefs special option. It was a nice meal. A takeaway version may never do a restaurant full justice and i will try and revisit for a sit down meal soon"

"The restaurant is absolutely great for its taste, especially the chow mein which tastes just like home! I'm sure the other dishes are just as authentic. The ambiance is not super fancy, but it's clean and tidy with Nepalese folk music playing in the background. The space is a bit limited for larger groups since they don't use the first floor, but the staff, especially Herr Suckat, is very helpful in suggesting the best options. They even have child seats available. I really enjoyed my experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to try authentic Nepalese cuisine."

"This pub is a pivotal part of Mile Oak almost like Emmerdale's Woolpack. It is always being refurbished to keep up with the times but never manages to lose it's good old english pub status. This pub has 3 bars; one sports bar with 2 pool tables and a large plasma screen television which is always showing the best live events, the 2nd, in the middle, is more for the locals and is the real gem of this pub if piece and quiet is needed, the 3rd is a function room that they hire out free of charge if a certain amount of people come. With a beer garden that enables the adults to relax whilst the children mess around on the swings and tree house, it really does offer something for everyone. The staff are always friendly and efficient. On a Saturday afternoon the local football team come in for pub grub and fun is always had by all until late in the evening. However, the only down side is possible the lack of food options which if improved would get this pub 5 stars! If your in the Mile Oak and Portslade area this is the best pub you will find, if you are not looking to have a meal."

"Terrible , dirty , rude , worst place I've been too , seen them drop some food and put it right into a customers order , will not be returning , food was bland and disgusting, couldn't say anything nice even if i tried , staff was rude and didn't care , think was owner , was dirty and could tell hygiene is an issue, felt like throwing up after 2/3 bites , had to throw away food it was that bad"

"We were staying in Porlock Weir after a day walking and were not sure what we would be eating for dinner as it is such a tiny place. Have to say the food from Ziangs was the most wonderful end to our day. Tasty and freshly cooked. We both had laksa with rice noodles. The fruit drinks were also a taste sensation ! Eaten at the table outside with a sea view, who could ask for more."
