"I see previous reviews were from 2014! I can honestly say WOW ! what a difference from then to now! The new owner/s have really worked hard, the place looks fabulous, the food is delicious. We just had a fresh crispy salad with a pizza that tasted like the dough had just been made, generous toppings and as its 2020! and we are in lockdown, the staff kindly brought the food out to me and put it in my boot. Thanks guys."

"I dont know about the fake 5 star reviews on here. But as you can see by the rest it 's a horrendous mistake. Yyyyyyep you guessed it, 3 hour wait. Food was like cold casting resin that looked better in the bin. Wasn 't surprised at all to find the other reviews. Multiple people phoned to enquire and were given multiple different excuses including that a driver had been in a car accident. I reckon I 've got more chance of pulling my mixed chicken out my backend than I 've got of a refund tbh... The local brothels will be seeing an awful lot more dodgey kebabs than usual. I 'd give you the whole never again barks but I hate thievery more than anything in the world so I 'll just leave it at Fuk off."

"We happened upon this little shop whilst perusing Harrogate and brought a selection of Cheeses to take to family that evening. The two ladies working were fantastic in helping us choose a lovely Brie with Truffle, Smoked Cheddar and a strong Blue. With a little taster of each we were soon agreed and the three cheeses were nicely wrapped up in paper.Our hosts loved them that evening and being local themselves have plans to pop in and see the array on offer for themselves."

"I have always frequented this restaurant with only a few minor issues. However, last night we placed an order and I specifically ordered a doner burger meal that was supposed to come with a choice of chips, curly fries, or wedges, and a drink. I chose curly fries. When the food arrived, there were no curly fries. I tried calling multiple times but was met with a constant answering machine. When I finally spoke to someone, they were rude and insinuated that I was lying, despite the fact that I had paid 5.99, which included the curly fries (I will attach a screenshot as proof). After about 10 minutes of arguing, the person said they would send out the fries, but they never arrived. I couldn't get through to them again. I will never patronize this dishonest and rude establishment again. It's time to find a new place to spend our money, as they do not deserve it."

"Right so I’ve ordered fish and chips for the office, we waited until the time slot and nothing, we gave it 5 mins and called them, and then repeatedly called them for the next 30 mins. Finally after an hour the food arrives, stone cold,...soggy and covered in condensation. I’ve called them again and she offered me a half price refund. I explained it was going straight in the bin. I was offered a full refund, gave them My card details and instead they charged me again. I was left, hungry and angry. They have no customer service, and they’ve not attempted to compensate me for this shambolic experience. Save your money and go to Churchill’s"

"I was kept waiting twice as long as the estimated wait time at this restaurant, clearly due to a delivery issue. A man who seemed to be a manager was continuously swearing on his phone and directing his frustration toward other patrons while slamming the phone down on customers asking about their orders. When my food finally arrived, there was no apology offered. I haven’t been to this place in 10 years, and after this experience, I have no intention of returning for another decade."

"We ordered a substantial amount of food on a Saturday evening. Was accepted, 40 minutes later I got a text to say my order had been cancelled. I called the shop to confirm this and the staff member assured me this was a mistake and took the first line of my address and number stating the food was out for delivery. 20 minutes later, no food I called again the same man was stating the food was not cancelled and still on its way. After raising that I would like to speak to a manager, the manager explained that my food was not coming and had indeed been cancelled. I was quite agitated at the fact other members of staff had lied and tried to get rid of me but telling me what I wanted to hear. When in reality if they had been honest and up front I could’ve ordered food from another restaurant. Very poor customer service and I will not order from here again , nor would I suggest friends of family too."

"I ordered cod and chips. Cod? I have never seen a grey cod but that was what I got. It didn't taste of anything and there was no texture to it. I've eaten cod for the last 73 years and there is no way this was cod. Last time I will ever order from them and I will take great delight in trying to stop people from ordering. I will also he informing trading standards. Disgusting. There should be a choice of selecting 0 because that's what I would have chosen."

"Was recommended this place by a friend. We have used Cafe Indus but this place just shines far brighter. Staff we’re all really friendly, attentive and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. But the food was fantastic especially the garlic chilli lamb, and vegetable Karai. Thr poppadums, pickle tray, bhajis, rice and breads were all delicious. A lovely experience and we’ve found our new home !!!"

"OVERCHARGING ! I have been warned by a friend Tandori staff overcharge i have ignored as never experienced their dishonesty. Today I have ordered a small kebab, a large kebab and a portion of chips. I have been charged £15.40. 2min later when I questioned the pricing as it didnt add up. The guy handed me back £1.30 admitting he charged me too much. "We walked in and thought it was just a kebab shop but they have a restaurant to the side. It was clean, food was freshly cooked and tasted good. The service was also good. Watch out for the chilli sauce it's a good kinda spicy that hits you when you think you're alright"
