Gillingham Grill - Menu

Having read other reviews, I was surprised to receive my food at all. Unfortunately, only half of my order arrived. When I called to inquire about the missing items, I was told they could include them in my next order. But considering I was just visiting, it's unlikely there will be a next time.

I’m a frontline worker and it’s difficult to get something to eat on nights so I went to Gillingham grill kabab I got there about 02.30 to be waiting out side to order to be told by another customer not the staff they would of left me out there all night waiting they are rude and arrogant I will not be using this shop anymore and everyone needs to boycott this place

I didn't receive any of the four main meals I ordered, only sides and drinks. I called the restaurant to ask if the delivery driver had another bag, but was told no. After speaking to three different people, I was told, "What do you expect, prices have gone up!" I believe customers should receive what they ordered. Absolutely disgusted with the service, food arrived, the pizza had been ruined by the delivery driver and he then opened up the pizza box to check it himself without a mask on or anything giving me Covid related concerns, he said he would ring and get a new one sent out. When ringing to ask how long this would be as that was my dinner, they told me an hour, had no apologies for it or anything just said that’s how it is and hung up on us twice! I’ll 1000% AVOID in future!!!!!

I'm quite unhappy. I phoned the restaurant to confirm they were still open as google said they were. The restaurant told me they were. I placed an order on just eat, to wait 20 minutes for it to be cancelled. Whilst waiting for my order to arrive all over restaurants closed. If this restaurant cancelled my order straight away I would have had time to place an order with an alternate restaurant instead I was kept wait and unable to order food tonight. Awful. Took an hour and a half to deliver two chicken shish wraps. Turned up and chips were stale and cold. When I phoned up to ask about my order the guy who answered the phone was also extremely rude and unhelpful, told me to ‘we’ll just cancel it then’ not apologies it’s late, or let me see where my driver is! Clearly customer service is an issue with this place as I’ve seen others have the same problem. To top it off got the order wrong, ordered side of garlic bread and got cheese melts. The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the prices are high and the delivery service is very poor. I stopped ordering from here years ago due to consistently late deliveries. However, I decided to give it another try last week and the food was still lovely. Unfortunately, this week the delivery was delayed and I was told it would be 45 minutes but it actually took 90 minutes. When I complained, I was informed that there was only one driver available. I suggested that they be honest about the delivery time so customers can plan accordingly. My advice is to pick up your order yourself or order on a Monday for a chance of receiving it by Friday.

We ordered a substantial amount of food on a Saturday evening. Was accepted, 40 minutes later I got a text to say my order had been cancelled. I called the shop to confirm this and the staff member assured me this was a mistake and took the first line of my address and number stating the food was out for delivery. 20 minutes later, no food I called again the same man was stating the food was not cancelled and still on its way. After raising that I would like to speak to a manager, the manager explained that my food was not coming and had indeed been cancelled. Absolutely disgusted with the food and service I have received tonight! I ordered the Gillingham Grill Meal Special (Lamb Shish, Kofta, Doner, Salad and Chilli sauce and 2 Pitta bread). When it arrived there was hardly any salad, no doner meat, just one bit of kofta and some clumps of lamb shish. Although it came with two Pitta bread there was only enough meat to barely fill one bread. I had paid £12.99 for what was essentially a small kebab. When I phoned the shop the man on the phone told me it doesn't come with doner so I corrected him then he told me to order something tomorrow and he would give me a discount.
