"Bennets is an unspoiled pub with interesting décor located in theTollcross area of Edinburgh. It has an excellent beer selection and a very good choice of whiskies. Its prices are average for Edinburgh establishments and it is the sort of place one could spend a few hours with a pint or a good malt reading the paper. It is good to see that this pub is still in business."

"It was absolutely heavenly - warm, gooey chocolate cake with a molten chocolate center, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The combination of flavors and textures was perfect. I savored every bite and left feeling completely satisfied. Overall, Archie's is a great spot for a late-night dessert fix. I will definitely be back to try more of their offerings."

"The food here was really top quality. I ordered a veggie breakfast as pictured. The hash browns had bits of chive in which really added an extra dimension of flavour whilst the sourdough bread had a lovely crunch to it. Every component was cooked to perfection, however I believe the portion sizes could be slightly larger when ordering a breakfast I imagined more than one sausage. This being said, I have no complaints about the quality of the food or the service. The waiting staff were very friendly and it was a comfortable and relaxed environment. I would return despite the portions."

"Delicious ice cream, I just came for the Pistachio flavour as I had a craving for Pistachio. It was worth it, really nice and tasty ice cream, I tried kinder bueno as well but I wanted hazelnut in the first place and I was not disappointed. Tastes exactly the same in Italy meaning not too sweet but full of flavour. I'll be back next time I'm in Edinburgh. "Ordered through JustEat and due to lack of drivers, had to wait 2h 30m (not Hass' fault at all) and called the store a few times over this period for updates. They were friendly and understanding and when the food arrived, it looked and tasted like they'd re-done it, nice and fresh, and threw in a few extras at their own expensive for something that is 100% not their fault. Ordered from here loads of times and the standard is always excellent. Good buncha lads. Worth the wait!"

"I had an ingenious night in mango! quickly from the most rude and violent woman, so-called watchman. my friend had her drink in her hand when she left and was politely told by one of the male watch that she could not take. the drink from the premise. She gave it to me, who was closer to the door, so I could go back in and finish it for her. I was completely taken back from nothing where this female security guard threw my shoulders back with a force? I've never been pushed out of nowhere, out of no reason? completely ruined my night, unfortunately I'm not going back to mango, which is a shame like I love the place."

"great eating and atmosphere at this place. the service is excellent, and the ladies cannot do enough. the drinks prices are somewhat less competitive than the other places close to them, and the loos needed a little attention. However, this place can offer a larger group and is a big pub for a night out, and I would recommend this place to friends and also meet here for drinks. Although in not in football, they usually have screens with a game for fans, but they also balance this very well with background music, and it is exactly that, background music, not too loud to annoy them, but loud enough to enjoy."

"Recently moved to the local area and decided to pop down about 10pm on a Tuesday with a friend. Was really pleasantly surprised to see around 20 people in a local pub on a Tuesday night with quite a good atmosphere. My friend and I were impressed by good value pints but disappointed that the barmaid called last orders at 10.30pm despite their website showing a closing time of 12am. Undeterred we tried to enjoy our pints but the barmaid started quite quickly to close up, clearing tables is understandable but we found turning lights off and loudly pulling down shutters to be quite uncomfortable. Upon leaving, I tried to ask for clarification for future reference, and was advised that the bar closed at 11pm, despite the information online. A regular did explain that the closing time depends on how many people are in the bar but if 20 patrons aren’t enough for a Tuesday in a residential area I can’t see it ever being open to 12. A nice atmosphere but I’m not sure how comfortable we will be going back."

"I'm staying from this facility over the street and was just one or two. the 5 stars are for the professionalism of the door personnel. efficient and professional and without doubt some of the best in glass windows. from the window, from my own apartment to personal experiences, these young are on their game. when they asked a man for a light for my zigarette, they quickly realized that I was not a threat and quickly and quietly sorted out without drama or annoying. I have the pleasure of being heavily involved in the security industry in recent years, and I see that these young people make a great task in an sometimes extremely hostile environment."
