"Lovely service, really friendly staff. Food was lovely. Tasty and served timely too. I had prawns to start then pasta ....too full for dessert. Good value. Nicely decorated for Christmas. And really liked the fact we weren't rushed out of the restaurant after we had eaten."

"I have been coming to this restaurant since I was in middle school, and I have always enjoyed the delicious food. I particularly love the spicy sauce and the tasty chips. The chicken wings and the towering burger are both fantastic. I come here every two weeks without fail and would highly recommend it. 5/5 stars!"

"on Friday the sun is immersed here and we have tied a fished, we have a table fast as I think most people were stunned themselves. the retention point was approx. 3/4 full. the service was very fast our 2 fish chips came along with brotbutter with 2 pots tee, within 5/10 minutes. the fish was a great great part, not served their une tiddler or half portions at another place. I can't harm the food or the service. if I had 1 grübe it would have to be that the papdies brown sauce is served in a saucer with a spoon that I will detest the taste as it is served. "We have never visited Benedictos in person but ordered a takeaway last night via JustEat. The food arrived really quickly but that was the only positive unfortunately. We ordered a mozzarella garlic bread and whilst the middle was nice, the edges were completely burnt and...inedible. We also ordered lasagna for the main dish and again, one of these portions was incredibly burnt. It was also swimming in a very salty tomato-based sauce. The onion rings and fries as sides were ok. We were really disappointed with our food not cheap either at £35. We wouldn’t recommend Benedictos and won’t be ordering for delivery or visiting the restaurant."

"I have left a full review on Trip Advisor which the Manager has responded to. He has basically called me a liar which is disrespectful. I expect a full apology. We booked weeks in advance. We arrived to find a very loud live band playing in the bar at 18:30 on a Sunday night. It took us a while to get some attention from the staff who were rushing around. Our allocated table for 4 was directly in front of the bar been used for storage of spare menus and cutlery etc. And had not been prepared. We asked for a quiet table to enable us to chat (i.e. this was a family reunion not a night out to see a band. We were shown to what the waitress described as the snug which was equally noisy as it was open plan to the bar where the band were playing. (NB the manager denies it 's existence! We asked if we could sit upstairs, we had already observed people dining upstairs. We were told it was closed when we pointed out the fact that others were up there and we were going to leave to find another restaurant the waitress went to consult with her supervisor and then told us we could sit upstairs so we decided to stay. (NB the manager has denied that this area upstairs was open! When we got upstairs it was clear that the diners there were part of one large family group celebrating a birthday. We double checked that it wasn 't a private function and we took a table in a corner away from the party. Food was luke warm and mediocre. Wine glasses were dirty. We had one course and left to go elsewhere. Not recommended."
