"I recently received a delivery from Herbie's Slough, a takeaway that I have been patronizing for many years. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. The pizza was bland, the chicken goujons and ribs were inedible, with the ribs being undercooked, posing a potential food safety concern. Despite immediately raising my concerns after delivery, it took several days of follow-up before I was able to speak to a manager. When they finally contacted me, the staff member seemed dismissive, claiming that no other customers had complained about the food that night. I was not only displeased with the food but also the customer service. I highly recommend avoiding this establishment at all costs."

"I paid £8 and some change for a large burrito filled with rice, vegetables, black beans, chili non carne, lettuce, pickled onions, salsa, and guacamole. I was pleasantly surprised by how big the burrito was, haha. The tortilla was delicious and the filling satisfied my appetite. I am giving four stars because I wish they offered vegan sour cream or cheese, and also because they were promoting vegan chocolate-filled churros that were not available."

"Clementina was a great host! She said it's great pizza and it was some of the best I've had. Kid had a mocktail (woodland fizz) and enjoyed it alot. They made a lovely fuzz over our son. He ordered a speciality pizza and it came out shaped as a fish which we loved as it reminded us of our very first holiday many years ago. What a special place except for the boys bathroom which had a broken lock lol. Tip was compulsory which we arnt used to but we would've left 10%. Prices were reasonable for the location of the restaurant. Overall four stars and a lovely family night."

"I ordered an XXL pizza, cauliflower wings and jalapeño poppers. It came quite fast but it was all cold, the pizza was freezing, and my sauce was missing from my ‘wings’. My fella is too polite to say anything so ate half the pizza before I could call and complain. Called, got told that the pizza couldn’t be replaced but they would send replacement sides if I gave them the original sides back. When they came, the poppers were lukewarm but at least the ‘wings’ were hot. But again, no sauce. Very disappointed and don’t think I’d order again, I’ve had better from places that were cheaper. I think (gasp) I’d have preferred a Dominos."

"This restaurant serves the best pizza in the city. When my team works hard, we order pizza from here because it is fast, good value, and has great taste. They also offer a grandma-style pizza called "Quare One" which is better than the traditional round pizza. Keep up the good work!"

"We had naked burritos, one was with carnitas (pork , the other one with chicken. Both were very very very delicious and very filling even without the wrap. We’re glad we decided to try this place out finally as we walked past it many times before : The staff were friendly and nice, fairly quick service for eat in even though it was lunchtime and the delivery guy was waiting for some orders too. Also good value for money. We payed £20 for two naked burritos and two soft drinks. Will be back again!"

"My family has been regular customers at Papa J's in Ashford since it first opened. We have always appreciated the fast and reliable delivery, as well as the great online deals and variety of veggie, vegan, and base options. We have found Papa J's to be more to our liking than other national pizza chains. However, in recent weeks, we have noticed a decline in the quality of the pizza. Our last two orders were disappointing - soggy, greasy, and unappetising. The pizza boxes were so greasy that we couldn't even recycle them, and the cheese and toppings kept sliding off. The thin crust was particularly unpleasant, and even after days in the fridge, we couldn't bring ourselves to finish the leftovers because they just weren't very good. The only saving grace was the garlic butter dip. It is with regret that I write this review, but after these experiences, we have decided to explore other options in the takeaway market. We tried a local independent pizzeria and were much more satisfied. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to Papa J's."
