"I had a great time at Masala Gallery. The Long Island Spiced Tea Cocktail was impressive and the food was excellent. The butter naan was some of the best I've ever had - light and fluffy. The service was good and the staff was friendly. The large TV channels added to the atmosphere. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely visit again. The only downside was limited parking spaces."

"The restaurant is very nicely decorated but the food and service do not match to that experience. We were sat so close to other people on other tables it was like were dining with them. We attended pre concert and chose the concert menu. The appetisers came within minutes of ordering, there wasn't a lot for the price. The mains we had to wait over 45 minutes for which was not good and we kept being told it was on the way. The food when it came was average curry really. It had obviously been cooked in a huge batch as it was on the set menu so not sure why it took so long. The service was not great...we were never asked if the food was ok or if we wanted another drink. We only had Coke and this was rather expensive at £3 for a tiny bottle.... Overall i think the place is very nice but the food was average at best and the service poor. The set menu was £25 per person which was not value for what you actually got. We saw a 10% service charge on our bill which we asked to be removed. Tried it, but wouldn't go back again."

"This restaurant seemed perfect for our group of 6 friends with a round table. The food was delicious and the portions were generous, although we were allowed to order too much. However, we found the prices for pappadams and naan to be excessive. The food was served in large containers with lids, which made it difficult to fit everything on the table. The bill came to £60 per person, including 3 reasonably priced bottles of wine and some beers. Considering the price, we expected the service to be more refined, but it fell short of our expectations."

"in recent years I have written a series of 5 star reviews about the punjabi tadka, as the quality of all food was exceptionally good. last night I have made my first delivery order since ende januar 2022 and was very disappointed by food quality. I will give feedback to any item in my delivery so that the owner will address what a problem with the kitchen staff or cook 1) poppadoms x 2: perfect as always 2) pink pakora sauce x2: thine runny submissive tasteless sauce. probably diluted with milk 3) chicken pakora x 2. bland coated deep fried chicken. no flavor of seasoned or cumin 4) huh bhuna x1. excessively spicy, sauce too thick and under seasoned with distinct lack of a hair 5) chicken chasni x 1. sauce was thin, much too sour, not sweet enough and under seasoned with distinct lack of han at the owners of the restaurant. the reason why they are recognized as the best Indian restaurant in east kilbride and probably the best in south lanarkshire is that they have been cooking high-quality, tasty food for years. I have written them so many 5 star reviews about the years because I realized that their team perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned foods with the best seasoned, crumble and spicy to create. inappropriate, last night meal not the 5 stars quality I have come to expect. if you want to keep their local legendary status, I suggest that you check my feedback about eating yesterday evening and have a word with whoever is their new cook, as they don't give out good food. we hope that my next order meets the 5 stars standard that I expected in the years that I am a loyal customer."

"Food was ok. Some plates were flavourful, however own plate was described as medium hot (Kashmir special) but lacked any spice and was rather bland. Service wasn't great. Sadly there was a large party downstairs, which led to our meal taking over an hour to arrive at the table, and staff weren't particularly apologetic to it. Appreciate when it's busy can be slow, but staff didn't really care. That said when they did serve tables they were friendly enough."

"When you're craving authentic Indian food with the true taste and flavor of India, look no further than Taka Tak in Oldbury. The dishes are freshly cooked, not reheated from frozen or leftovers, and absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a great atmosphere with popular Indian songs playing, plenty of free on-site parking, and excellent customer service. The only downsides are the waiting time for food and portion sizes, which could be improved. Despite this, I would still give Taka Tak a 5-star rating and highly recommend it."

"Bedford and Strand is a hidden gem. You'd never realise it was there, until someone in the know takes you. It's well-located, at the foot of Covent Garden, close to the theatres in the Strand and Charing Cross station. "First Indian restaurant we tried in UK based on mixed reviews but it was not at all Indian taste. All veg curries are nothing but boiled potatoes. Paneer tikka masala was deep fried paneer pieces dipped into tomato sauce. Only thing I found which was like India was roti. Not sure about non veg items but this place is not good for Indian vegetarians for sure."

"The restaurant is downstairs in an old bomb shelter which is very cool. Dim lighting and nice music. Menu is authentic and has a great variety. Unfortunately, they do not offer a full bar/cocktails but the wine list was good so we got a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc which paired nicely with our meal. They brought out papadum with 4 dippers as bread service. For starters, we went with samosas and the garlic prawns. Both were delicious. The samosas had a little heat to them and the prawns were tender and just garlicky enough. For mains, my son and I got chicken tikka masala and my husband got the lamb tikka masala. For sides we got steamed rice and traditional naan. Outstanding. Everything was devoured except a couple pieces of the naan. They then brought hot towels to clean your hands. The manager came over and asked where we were from and if we enjoyed ourselves. We chatted for a bit and then he provided complimentary after dinner drinks to all of us. My husband picked Baileys, I got Amaretto and he brought our 15yr old a rocks glass of apple juice which looked suspiciously like whisky lol. We all had a good laugh. Little chocolates came with the bill which was a nice touch since they don't offer dessert. Overall, very happy with our choice of restaurant and highly recommend."

"After attending a rugby game at Murrayfield, we had dinner with friends at a restaurant near Haymarket station. Despite being very busy, we were promptly seated and enjoyed delicious food. The menu had a great selection, including plenty of options for vegetarians. We started with mixed appetizers and then had main courses with rice and naan bread. The service was attentive without being overbearing. The only downside was that the restaurant felt a bit cramped with limited space between tables, so those with mobility issues should contact them in advance for assistance. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this restaurant to others."
