"We have had some lovely take away meals from here in the past. But the last two have been quite disappointing. Even though I don't live far from the restaurant and it is delivered very quick the food has been cold recently. We tried the lamb tikka starter for the first time, which was cold and it was really tough like it had not been freshly cooked, we ended up leaving it. The chicken tikka was lovely but also cold and the salad that comes with the starters wasn't fresh. The mains where lovely but again needed warming up and not very big portion sizes at all. Overall I think we will be trying other local Indian restaurants in hope to find a consistent one!"

"I love traditional Asian curries and this place can never satisfy. I guess it's a family-run takeaway, the chef is very skillful and makes fresh curries with taste, like traditional home cooked bradford curries. I have starved when I think about it! had a lamb and huh spinat madras recently, and young, it was delicious! portion sizes are also big, I usually have something for the next day. donna meat is good and bark donna without gristle bits and not full of fat, as cheaper donna meat. wrap it in a bit chapati and curry, tastes brilliant! I can also recommend her lahoria chicken speciality, has a good mix of aromen. the staff are friendly and make them welcome."

"I am surprised by the evaluation of this place to be honest. on the demand of some Indian food I have ordered here by vans. tried the aloo dum gravy, huhn tikka, wobble rings among many of their appetizers. my favorite here is the biryani. it is not the typical biryani that they get in India or elsewhere. it has a beautiful aroma and very gentle taste that loved me this place. I hope more people try this place and it will be a more deserved review."

"We've had home deliveries from this establishment for quite some time now but this was the first order for a while.When I telephoned I asked for the meal for two at £27 to be delivered at 7.00 and gave the chap my address and postcode.As my wife wanted a dish she hadn't had before I asked for more information..he confirmed that both dishes were of medium heat. At 6.20 my intercom buzzed,it was a neighbour..the delivery had an address but no name.I told the guy that I wasn't happy but accepted delivery.When I looked at the food my wife's curry looked like a Korma(it was supposed to be a Special Matta)and was very bland..she refused to eat anymore as she said it was more like sweet custard!. After our meal(we shared my curry which was nothing special but ok) I called to voice my disappointment and the issues I'd had.The chap I spoke to was very apologetic but said they were too busy to do anything at the moment but he was keen get the owner(he was the guy who took the order)to telephone me to apologize and see how they could make amends...my phone has yet to ring. Don't know how this poor food and service has happened but,at the moment,I have no plans to give him my business again."

"The food is consistent in quality, not amazing but nothing inedible. The highlight for sure was the matka gosht, cooked well, the meat was tender and sauce flavourful, if you pay a visit then order this for sure, along with a paratha or three. We also had a tava chicken which went down well. The machle la jawab is essentially chip shop masala fish served in your standard curry house base gravy. Lassawala gosht promises a lot but definitely does not live up to the hype. Everything on the mixed grill was overcooked and dry. The chefs need to revisit this for sure, some pieces like the tandoori chicken were left pretty much untouched, that's how tough and dry it was. The lowlight of the visit was nearly throwing up after smelling the mint sauce bottle. The waiter then told me that he had just filled it that morning and it was impossible for it to be off. Of course, he then smelt it himself and took it away promptly... The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable with a good atmosphere. Toilets are fit for human use (unlike the facilities in so many restaurants in Brum these days). Price is very reasonable."

"I placed an order online through the restaurant's website using my Visa card processed by Worldpay. I received an email confirmation with the order number and estimated delivery time of 45-60 minutes around 7:06 pm. However, after waiting for 1 hour and 45 minutes and making 17 unsuccessful phone calls, I decided to visit the restaurant. The owner claimed they didn't receive my order, despite me showing him the email receipts and screenshots. He rudely suggested I contact the bank and showed no willingness to help or apologize for the inconvenience. Despite my bank account being charged, the owner refused to take responsibility for the issue. I received no food and encountered unprofessional and rude behavior from the owner. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant and seeking out other more hospitable options in Milton Keynes. Sizzling Grillz does not deserve even one star for their disgraceful conduct."

"oh my, definitiw one of if not the best curries in oxford! I had taken away several times from cafe spice and it disappointed never. large portions of absolutely delicious curry and great naan to very favorable trips means that this place cannot be missed. Today we have tried a few curries that we had not tried for a bit of variation before, and all wild cards have proved to be simply beautiful and tasty. the delivery was super fast and the food was hot when we got it. "4.3. We are international travelers. Our British friend took us here to eat what he thought was the best Indian food in Manchester. This store is quite conspicuous, but the road outside feels a bit rough. There is a waiting room in the store, but I thought it was a bit strange. There were not many customers in the restaurant when we visited, but there were many seats and the space was quite large. We ordered appetizers and some dishes. The pancakes tasted like Taiwanese shrimp pancakes without the taste of shrimp, eaten with sauce. This was my second time eating Indian food (the first was at Yaatra in London and the price was significantly cheaper, so we were quite satisfied. Maybe I'm not used to eating Indian rice, so it still feels a little weird, but I'm already more familiar with it. This place may be more like real Indian food, and the curry sauce is very rich. We ordered Bhuna lamb (Specially fried with a mix of Eastern spices to create a truly delicious medium curry. The taste is quite rich and rich, the taste is heavy, the spiciness is medium, not too spicy, the lamb is tasty and chewy . There is also Dhansak chicken (garlic, pineapple and lentils and has a beautifully mild sweet and sour taste. This curry has a relatively mild and refreshing taste, with the sweet and sour flavor of pineapple, and the chicken is delicious and moderately tender. Overall, it cost about £16 per person and we were very full. We even packed some unfinished food and went back. The toilet is on the second floor and comes with toilet paper. The waiter was funny and thought we were speaking Japanese. All in all, a great experience here! 20240801"

"This is one of the best dessert shops in the area. The staff is always friendly and the desserts taste amazing with fresh ingredients. I usually order for pick up and the wait time is usually around 20 minutes. I didn't give it a 5-star rating because I had a terrible experience with delivery - it took about 2 hours for the food to arrive. I would definitely recommend this place for pick up orders."

"Just got home after a really lovely family meal here (kids 12 5yrs . Everything was perfect. Spotlessly clean and lovely decor, poppadoms and chutneys whilst we browsed the menu, great selection of food (3/4 of us are vegetarian , water regularly topped up. Staff were all so kind and friendly. We ordered the veg momo's to start which came with a delicious spicy dipping sauce. For mains we had veg korma, shaslick super, pudina paneer and a cold dish I can't remember the name of but it was so delicious. Enjoyed it all too much to take photos! (Our son also smashed his glass and the staff were so kind and understanding. We are only visiting the area but will definitely go back if ever here again. Highly recommend! Nicest meal our we've had in ages."

"We booked a table, surprisingly it wasn’t that busy. There were lots of delivery drivers collecting, easy to understand why. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Not hot either. Bring your own alcohol if you want a drink, soft drinks only served, well advertised. They don’t charge corkage either. We started with a poppodom each, they were freshly cooked (not the usual pre made reheated rubbish), they were like fluffy but crunchy clouds, they just melted in the mouth, not hard and not oily. I could easily eat half a dozen of these with mango chutney and raita for a meal. The mango chutney and raita are made freshly in the restaurant, unfortunately the manager wouldn’t share the recipes, darn lol. Considering everything is made fresh to order the service is very quick. I hadn’t even finished my poppodom before the chicken tikka starter arrived. Hubby and I shared a chicken tikka starter, we have both been eating Indian food for over 40 years, and said we both thought it was the best chicken tikka we had ever tasted. It was succulent, and delicious. It could only have been improved by the raw sliced onions accompanying it having been lightly fried. Served with a piece of hot lemon too, perfect. The King Prawn Karahi was excellent, awesome taste, the Chilli Chicken was suitably hot and had a delicious flavour as well. We were so busy eating and waxing lyrical about our dinner we hardly had time to talk to each other lol. We ordered Keema Rice, I was disappointed because it had peppers and tomatoes in it (that’s a first for us). As I had asked for my dish to have no peppers or tomatoes we mentioned it to the manager, he apologised, said it was an error and removed the rice from our bill. The manager was very nice, did a check back as well. The portions are a good size, so value for money. If we lived nearer we would probably have a weekly delivery from here, if not more often. It’s rare to get perfectly cooked food with such good flavour, and great service as well. Definitely looking forward to next time we eat here. I can highly recommend eating here. Can’t remember the last time I thought that, or found a restaurant this good. Thank you to the manager and chef for making our little break perfect."
