"A recent discovery for me is this beautiful Indian restaurant, which I rank up there with the best in Manchester, situated in the heart of Didsbury Village. Curries are without doubt my favourite food, so I've had a good few and since working for Yelp I have set myself the task of really locating the finest curry houses in Manchester. The Original Third Eye fully deserves to enter in at the top, alongside my other favourites, Punjab in Rusholme, Moon in Withington, and The Original Lal Qila on Deansgate. See my list for the run down. The name Original Third Eye comes from one of the finest restaurants in Kathmandu, though it is also a reference to the concept of the all Seeing Eye, a central emblem of Buddhist thought that is depicted on many temples and shrines throughout Nepal. The restaurant itself is large, and spacious, with authentic decoration and a smart, but still nicely informal, table arrangement. The food is literally unbelievable. Needless to say they sell all the usual traditional curry dishes, including an extensive fish list, but the main specialties are something new and unusual, a curry with a little something extra, taking it to that next level of joy and producing happiness and glee in their very consumption. The kidney kebab starter for example, combines classic kebab spices with beautiful marinated lamb kidney. Also beautiful is the Third Eye Tangri, which mixes chicken with minced lamb and nuts, a surprising and beautiful combination. In terms of mains, go directly to either the seafood menu or the Third Eye Specials section, on which everything is gorgeous. The piece de resistance, is the Murghi Masala, a whole chicken marinated in wonderful spices. This dish is so precisely crafted, that you in fact need to give 24 hours notice, and at least two people need to share it. I think that epitomizes this restaurant's absolute class. So I end on that note."

"We recently dined at Rustam Restaurant, and it was a delightful experience that I highly recommend to anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine. Ambiance: Rustam Restaurant boasts a charming interior with a blend of traditional Indian decor and modern comfort. The warm lighting and tasteful decor create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. It’s an ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a fun night out with friends and family. Service: The service at Rustam Restaurant was exceptional. The staff were courteous, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. They provided excellent recommendations and made sure we were comfortable throughout our meal. Food: The food at Rustam Restaurant was the highlight of our evening. We began with a mixed appetizer platter that included samosas, pakoras, and paneer tikka. Each item was bursting with flavor and perfectly spiced. For the main course, we enjoyed the chicken tikka masala and lamb biryani. The chicken tikka masala had a rich, creamy sauce with tender chicken pieces that were cooked to perfection. The lamb biryani was fragrant and flavorful, with each grain of rice perfectly cooked and infused with spices. We also tried the dal makhani, which was smooth, creamy, and wonderfully spiced, and the garlic naan, which was freshly baked and wonderfully soft. Dessert: For dessert, we had the classic gulab jamun and the saffron-infused rasmalai. The gulab jamun was soft and syrupy, just the way it should be, and the rasmalai was light and delicately flavored, providing a perfect end to our meal. Overall: Rustam Restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious, authentic Indian food and top-notch service. Whether you are a fan of Indian cuisine or new to it, Rustam Restaurant is sure to impress. I highly recommend this restaurant for its outstanding food, excellent service, and warm, inviting atmosphere."

"We booked a children’s party here for ten kids through groupon. Booking wasn’t very straightforward as the member of staff didn’t know what we were talking about. We never received any confirmation of booking either. Once we got there we were shown the tables available for us and the two bowling lanes. We were the only customers in the place so having ten kids for a party should of been easy. First off the constant nagging from the female member of staff put a real damper on the day. Kids are noisy, they run around bearing in mind it’s a kids party. This member of staff was at my side every five minutes complaining about one thing or another. The bowling alley wasn’t great,at one stage the ball actually rolled back up the alley. The food is unlimited on the groupon with pasta, chips and pizza available. The kids were hungry and ate well but we didn’t need anymore food. There were a few left over slices of pizza which I offered to the adults. The female member of staff actually took the pizza out of my mums hand saying it was for the kids, took it away and binned it. When she came to complain to me again I actually told her to leave me alone and requested the manager. There were a few complaints from us about the way the staff behaved and when I discussed this with the manager he just blamed the staff. When I explained that I’m an avid trip adviser reviewer he tried to bribe me with a free game if I gave a good review. It’s a great deal on the face of it but it was a total nightmare. I even opened a tab and spent £60 on top of the party cost as I know the business doesn’t make a profit from groupon, this included food for the adults. The male member of staff behind the bar was fantastic."
