"A real gem of a place, an excellent pub in a beautiful village definitely worth the drive. Staff lovely, food very tasty and obvious that good quality, local produce and suppliers are used. A bit more expensive than the ‘normal’ pub lunch but as they say, you get what you pay for. Only one little criticism is the ‘gratuity’ automatically added to the bill makes you feel pressured to pay it, rather than it being a choice, we would have given one anyway but amount would have been our choice . That being said, we will definitely be going back and would recommend this place to anyone."
