We arrived at the restaurant and found it closed unexpectedly, with a note on the door. While we understand that these things happen, a notification via text or email would have been greatly appreciated, especially since it was New Year's Day and there were no other available reservations at that time.

Warm and welcoming we got off to a good start but as the evening wore on, everything took a long time ordering and getting drinks, orders and receiving food, requesting and getting the bill.
