"We visited this restaurant for an evening meal to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary. The food was good, and this was our second time dining here. We both enjoyed three courses and coffee, with only a little alcohol, and the total bill came to £100 for two. I found that a bit pricey for what we had, but it is what it is. The staff were very friendly, and our meals were served promptly without making us feel rushed. I believe you would leave satisfied if you decided to visit. Well done, Ivy House!"

Despite being fully booked and incredibly busy, the friendly staff welcomed us even though we hadn't made a reservation, as we had just arrived in Braithwaite. They kindly let us order some delicious takeaway and enjoy a refreshing ale while we relaxed in the cozy lounge. Thank you very much! View menu

The furnishings in the room were excellent, and everything was very clean. My overall experience at the restaurant was quite enjoyable, and the food quality was very good. Regarding parking, each room had its own designated parking spot. As for service, it was great. I had dinner, and the price per person was between £70 and £80.

Small privately owned restaurant serving delicious well-presented food. Owner and staff are friendly and very efficient. Great to be back in a restaurant but they are still following Covid recommendations so felt safe and tables a nice distance apart. This is such a lovely way to support local businesses and so pleased to see it has survived. Would give it 6 stars if I could!
