"I have been a customer of scoopz for over 10 years. Tonight has got to be the worse service ever. I am honestly so angry and so upset because I enjoyed coming to scoopz. After tonight I will no longer be making my services available. The new staff member has no idea on how to handle customer service. There were two ladies in work tonight and one was a blonde girl the other with long ginger hair. The girl with ginger hair was really not bothered in the slightest she took 15 minutes to make one milkshake (no exaggeration). Despite the long queue outside she carried on taking her time. In the space of 30 minutes of me waiting in the queue she lost out on 15 odd customers who decided to walk away due to how slowly the line was going. I waited in the queue for 30 minutes and when it hit 10.30pm the ladies promised they will still serve the customers who had been waiting. When we finally got into the shop the ginger girl said that she was no longer making milkshakes and they had to go home. She did not care that because of how slowly she was working people were waiting so long and despite being so patient only to be told after 30 minutes of waiting that she will not serve us. I am so outraged and never experienced something such bad service in my life. I get the ginger girl was new and this is why we remained patient. However, 10 years in the customer service industry I do not think she should be carried on being employed. She has lost so much business today and lost so many customers in one day only to think how much she is tarnishing your reputation. I came for a milkshake, waited 30 minutes to be told they are closing when they knew we had been waiting. I will no longer be going to scoopz and urge the rest of you to save your time too as it is not worth it. So upsetting."

"We booked a table at 7pm on Wednesday for 3. I was first to arrive at 6:50pm, I was directed to a table of 6. I asked the waitress if she had made a mistake as there was only 3 of us but she just asked me where my friends were and I said “they are coming”. She then tried to sit 3 other people with me and I advised her these weren’t the other 2 friends I was waiting for and she just asked again where my friends were. She made me feel apologetic for being there. After my friends arrived, before 7pm, the food was great and delivered to the table promptly by a very friendly waiter. He was really attentive and asked whether we wanted extra drinks often. I also added a side of chips after our main course was served and this came really promptly. I had the vegan taggine which was really nice. We also all had the baklava for dessert which was fabulous! The first waitress came back for payment which we split the bill at £14.25 each. We all said this and when I got home and checked my bank account I was charged £15.25. I checked with my friends and they were both charged correctly. Overall, I enjoyed the food but it was let down by some horrible customer service."

"I wanted an iced frappe or a milkshake, so I decided to try this restaurant with a large menu. I prefer to support independent businesses, so I chose to get a milkshake. I opted for a simple one and was a bit disappointed when it arrived in a paper cup for £3.40. It was decent, frothy, and milky, but I couldn't really taste the flavor. Overall, I left feeling like I should have gone to Starbucks instead."

"The shop was empty around 7pm which you'd think they'd be happy for custom! The 2 girls in the shop did not seem welcoming AT All, no smiles no customer service! The seats were filthy and the menus were sticky! When seated the lady did...not tell us we would have to order at the till, and was frowning and showed attitude when asked if she would take our order. Then another lady at the back said she told us (from behind the counter out of sight) that we'd have to go to the till. No one smilled all night!! THEY PLAYED EXPLICIT MUSIC WITH SWEAR WORDS IN EVERY VERSE even though my 12 Yr old sister was dining with us! The cakes were very dry and not worth the money and for the extra payment for custard, the teaspoon amount you get is offensive!! Overall experience was ridiculously terrible, will NEVER be going there again! Don't waste your money!"
