"The Last Visit. Many moons ago we were big fans of the Battersea branch and frequent, and always satisfied, visitors. However, last night's experience at the larger Balham branch will be our last to either Gazette. In summary, the food continues to be lardy French and delicious but the service and whole experience left a bitter taste in the mouth. This place has set its stall out and for what you're paying, one would expect more. Booked table for 9.15, only to find that table was given away (without apology, just a we didn't know how long your wife was going to be even though they had been told a couple of mins).
