"Sorry, but this place 's standards have slipped a lot. The food is good but...it 's not exactly plentiful, the prices are sky-high and the delivery not quite what you 'd expect. We ordered two mains: one Pad Cha King Prawn which promised to come with green peppercorns, a spicy sauce and baby aubergines. The other was sliced duck in a tamarind sace. Oh dear. Six sliced of duck in a (very good) tamarind sauce is not worth £16 any day of the week, and the Pad Cha king prawn dish noticeably came without the baby aubergines, which was the reason we ordered it in the first place. We asked for an explanation and were told that 'they didn 't have any ', which wasn 't really an answer. To be fair, they did say 'sorry ' but didn 't offer anything else such as a discount for not delivering what they promised, whch was not just useless, bust also vaguely insulting, as though we should be grateful we got anything at all. To make matters worse, when the bill rocked up not only was it (expectedly) high, but the waitress also had the gall to tell me how to add a tip. Like I was going to... The Miang starter was excellent (though also very slight in portion) and the wine list decent, if also monstrously over-priced. You actually have to pay £1.35 for a dish of about ten prawn crackers and bottled sweet chilli sauce, which is incredible: most other Thai restaurants have this on the table. I think this place fancies itself as Thai fine dining: they really have to shape up their ideas. Their service leaves quite a gap between their aspirations and their delivery. Oh yes...and the staff were not wearing masks. COVID is still a thing, you know."
