"Generally, the food at this restaurant is incredibly tasty—always hot and full of aroma. I typically dine here once a month and usually get takeout, but it has always been a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, there used to be a whole section offering the mains with jackfruit or vegan meat alternatives, but now there are no other options for vegans apart from the generic vegetable curry, which not many of us enjoy. However, the paneer was excellent for vegetarians. I hope they bring back the previous options as I used to enjoy dining here before they removed them."

"this restaurant deserves any good review that it has got! eating is amazing and the ambiente is just as good. in the rule Indian/pakistani restaurants with claws decoration and interiors, just because there are few restaurants. but this restaurant is very different. the restaurant is very beautiful from the inside and especially looks perfectly clean. we have not made the buffet option and have just decided to order from the menu. we ordered the chicken tikka masala, garnelen biryani and malai tikka boti. we loved eating, especially the huh tikka masala! that was the highlight of our meal, couple with the warm butternan. it was delicious! the biryani was a bit spicy, but still very tasty. I would recommend this place to everyone! go and see yourself!"

"Ordered food at 17:45. At 21:25 I am still waiting. They were late with the delivery and then on opening the food they delivered the wrong food. They assured me they'd send the wrong food and in the following hour and a half they said it was out for delivery twice. They are only 5 minutes drive from my house. 5 phonecalls and well over 3.5 hours later, nothing!! I used to love this place but I won't ever order from here again. Below is not a donner which would have been fine if it was one item wrong but it was the whole families "

"We ordered 6 different dishes chosen by this establishment, and I'm sorry to say that utterly appalling was our conclusion. All three of us agreed that it was all practically inedible and disgusting. I was attracted initially by the fact that Nepali dishes were served here including mojo. The momo were inedible along with almost everything else we ordered including the nan bread which was so dried out, it was like cardboard. Obviously not made on site. We are amazed this place has been in business for any length of time. The on Y acceptable food we received out of nearly £40 of different dishes was the pilau rice. Very sad to report this, we has higher expectations. Avoid this place if you like good quality food."

The exterior may be unassuming and the decor questionable, but the service and food more than make up for it. I tried the mixed grill and the lamb biryani, both of which were amazing. "This Indian restaurant is always fantastic and one of my favorites in the area. The staff is very friendly and attentive, ensuring that your glass is never empty for long. I had the deluxe platter with a wide variety of chicken and lamb dishes, accompanied by a generous portion of rice. This is perfect for those who like to try different curries or have trouble deciding on a dish. The chicken curry was beautifully flavored and the meat was very tender. We prefer our food on the spicy side, and the staff was happy to accommodate our request for extra chili. The naan bread was always served hot and soft, with just the right amount of butter. The portions are generous and I appreciate how knowledgeable and patient the waiters are in helping me navigate the menu. We have dined here with family, friends, as a couple, and even hosted a private banquet and birthday party in the side area without any issues. The prices are average and on par with similar restaurants. The thali we ordered was one of the more expensive items at around £17, but the selection was well worth it. We even had leftovers to take home the next day. Overall, the dining experience is consistently excellent here."

"Bedford and Strand is a hidden gem. You'd never realise it was there, until someone in the know takes you. It's well-located, at the foot of Covent Garden, close to the theatres in the Strand and Charing Cross station. "My husband and I came here after passing it on the way home and after visiting many years ago decided try again. The service was brilliant, very friendly staff. Food was fresh and tasty, best onion bhajis I've ever tasted!! and the peshwari Naan was particularly yummy. They Don't serve alcohol but we didn't mind at all as you can bring your own if you wish, we ordered a couple of cokes which were a bargain at £1 a can! We ordered from there special offer which was a 3 course for £11.95, what a bargain! Also FREE popadums, so what more can you ask for?? "the food tasted good, had arrived hot and on time. not complaining. I felt, however, that the person I spoke to on the phone had no customer knowledge. I asked for a substitution, and the answer was a quick no, it doesn't come as that I reacted to that I am aware, but I'm requesting a substitution of the same value; not a complete part of something else. what is the problem if you make this type of change exactly? but that was answered with a simple ok, this time, but not next time and when I asked again why the one problem was essentially the person not to wake up and hang up. overall not the best ordering experience. it would have been good to receive a reasonable answer, in particular one that proves that they take care of what their customers want."
