"We were eager to enjoy a meal we ordered from this restaurant, but unfortunately, the person who took our order made a mistake. When we arrived home, we found out that they had only prepared three items instead of meals for a man and two children. When we tried to contact them to resolve the issue, we were told that they were closed for the night and could not assist us. This lack of customer service and apparent lack of interest in serving their customers was disappointing."

"Not sure if this venue has changed hands but its definitely took a nose dive. Slow delivery, driver didnt have right change and we ended up out of pocket. Forgot some of our order too! "We were on a mini-break in Canterbury. We stayed in a remote part of Canterbury. We decided to order a takeaway and chosen Jaspers, a pizza, kebab, burgers and wraps. It was easy to order from, took our order and the food came with 25 minutes. We ordered a chicken shish and Lamb shish with chicken wings. We had the best pita bread ever for a kebabs. It was large and soft not the normal hard pita bread you get. They even took my payment upon collection with the wireless machine, wasn't too sure if it could get connectivity but it did. Great food and service. Highly recommend"

"Having worked at this place over years ago with the original owners Nick the Greek and his entourage Cheryl Dawn and pat Looking after the restaurant side and a regular customer since those days I have to write to say how disappointed I am...The food has always been the best in Cleethorpes and weekend queues would stretch till o’clock in the morning . Since nick sold the restaurant it’s clear he took all his secrets with him because the food has deteriorated so much. For one please can we go back to the original recipe for the special kebabs the recipe that Nick brought to the establishment back in the .. From making them in the back kitchen I know for one the parcley is missing Plus the onions and the main kick of the kebab which came from the cayne pepper seems to be substituted by Curry powder for some bizarre reason . The chips should be double cooked, The lamb cutlets should not be cut into tiny little pieces but served as a full cutlet just like they used to be . The secret lamb donna recipe reserved for the kebab house seems to be substituted for the same ingredient you can pick up in any High Street kebab shop, The chicken kebab should be known how long to cook without slicing into it and letting it dry out same goes for the lamb shish . Please can we just go back to all the original recipes and cooking techniques it will be such a shame to see this takeaway become any old High Street kebab shop"

"I ordered by phone because the website was not working. My husband spoke with the delivery driver for 30 minutes, struggling to understand him while giving directions and waiting outside in the dark. When the food arrived, it was cold, and there was a bag of chicken nuggets with our vegetarian meal, which we assumed was a mistake from another order. We threw them away since the driver had already left. The BBQ dipping sauce I ordered was missing, and instead, I received three garlic and herb sauces, even though the driver had assured my husband that it was included. This has been an ongoing issue with the dipping sauces. Today, I noticed an overcharge on my bank account. When I called the restaurant, they initially claimed they had no record of my order and tried to dismiss me until I mentioned the possibility of fraud due to the overcharge. Finally, after a heated argument, the manager agreed to refund the extra £5 for the chicken nuggets that we did not order and are not part of our usual order history as vegetarians. The disrespectful treatment we received guarantees that we will not be dining at Herbies again."

"Was really fancying a pizza so got a barbeque chicken pizza for dinner which was at a good price. Delivery on the website stated that it would arrive in 45 minutes however the meal arrived over an hour after when it was supposed to arrive. The shop which I had phoned in to ask what was going on and the staff stated that our pizza had left the shop around 30 minutes before it actually arrived. I live only about 5 minutes away from the shop so I don't understand how a pizza that has just left the shop took so much time to arrive at my house. The pizza when it arrived was pretty good but a little cold. I would recommend pizza boy as it has good food and prices however I would highly reccomend not using delivery."

"I have always frequented this restaurant with only a few minor issues. However, last night we placed an order and I specifically ordered a doner burger meal that was supposed to come with a choice of chips, curly fries, or wedges, and a drink. I chose curly fries. When the food arrived, there were no curly fries. I tried calling multiple times but was met with a constant answering machine. When I finally spoke to someone, they were rude and insinuated that I was lying, despite the fact that I had paid 5.99, which included the curly fries (I will attach a screenshot as proof). After about 10 minutes of arguing, the person said they would send out the fries, but they never arrived. I couldn't get through to them again. I will never patronize this dishonest and rude establishment again. It's time to find a new place to spend our money, as they do not deserve it."

"we order from here weekly. the same is the week in the week as we like what we order. every single week there is something. last week for example no bbq sauce on the chicken and today at night pizza and garlic bread over boiled and a piece.
