"Not what it was !!! We were frequent diners here and the food has really gone down hill lately. Had Sunday lunch and everything was dried out. You could tell everything was not made to order but sitting around and simply reheated. Chicken roast was dry to the bone and Black garlic chicken was so dry inside it was barley edible. The tortellini appetizer was simply just weird… every chef knows the only acceptable dish to use raw mushrooms in is a salad. Yet, the tortellini had several raw mushrooms on top. From texture to taste this dish failed miserably !!!! We won’t be back !!!!"

"My wife and I had a fantastic time at Ziggy's bar in the elegant Cafe Royal. We enjoyed sampling the special 'Ziggy' cocktails and listening to David Bowie's music in the background, as we are both big fans. The staff were also excellent, attentive but not pushy. Our first visit to Cafe Royal exceeded our expectations and we look forward to returning in the near future. Thank you for a truly memorable evening."
