"We placed our first ever delivery with Pizza Hut two days ago. After over three hours of waiting (over two hours later than the latest delivery estimate I tried phoning the store, multiple times, but they never picked up the phone. I had no other option than to drive there. The young guy told me that that night had been a disaster for them, they hadn't got many orders out, and that I wouldn't be receiving mine. I just needed to know if we could start cooking something at home, because we were starving, and it was now 10.45pm! Whilst I was there, I heard their phone ringing constantly, and of course the staff ignored it. Trying to get a refund was just as tricky. I was told today that I should get a refund in 3-5 working days, but we'll see. The telephone manner had a bit to be desired! The manager kept asking me who I spoke to before, as if I know all their employees by name! I understand that these places are busier than usual (lucky them! due to the coronavirus lockdown. But they should not be accepting orders that they are unable to honour. And if they are unable to provide a delivery, they should let the customer know asap, so that other arrangements can be made. Also, an automatic refund should be issued. I shouldn't have to beg for it! Maybe it was a blessing in disguise. The other reviews suggest the food is poor quality!"
