"So there I am, on a beautiful warm Sunday, sitting at home by myself. Impossible. I decide that I need to go out ASAP and just do something. And what’s better than treating myself to a nice lunch. Yes, I’m one of those people that doesn’t mind eating by herself and, in fact, loves it. I started walking down Upper Street, without any clue as to where to sit down. The reason why I chose Blue Legume, was simply because of the open front seemed like exactly what I was looking for. Decided to go for an egg white omelette and the Spirulina smoothie. Omelette was light and exactly as it should be, but I think I was more grateful for the potatoes that came along with it very very well seasoned. I was, however, completely blown away by the smoothie love the fact that it was green, not too sweet and so refreshing. Wouldn’t mind having it on a daily basis. I finished all of that pretty quickly and since I didn’t want to just head back home, I had a second look at the menu and finally found another excuse to stay. Ordered the apple crumble and some coffee to get rid of the sleepiness that was about to hit me. Nothing out of the ordinary here, except the fact that the crumble, was clearly microwaved. Was initially disappointed, but somehow it didn’t ruin my experience. Staff was very nice and receptive, no issues there, and unlike most times when I go for a meal by myself, there were no awkward stares. I felt pretty comfortable and happy after the entire meal, and that’s why I was back 2 weeks later with a friend for more. Would happily visit over and over again."

"we have reviewed reviews on urbanspoon and tripadvisor before we eat here. both have rated it very, so I think we are inferior when we say we were disappointed. the restaurant itself is slightly dated, but has a charm. it seemed that many older couples are welcomed by the beautiful staff very familiar, in which did it seemed a few just regular here the staff is fantastic. could not be more efficient or friendly. "I have been to this restaurant many times over the years, but I believe that the quality has declined. The food was okay, but nothing special compared to other restaurants in the city. What really bothered me was everything else. We had to wait on uncomfortable chairs for 10 minutes until our table was ready, right next to another table of diners which made us feel awkward. When we were finally seated, it was at a table in the back corner of the restaurant blocking the fire exit door. We were shocked by this disregard for health and safety. There were also stacks of chairs to our left that could have been cleared to make room for another table. This lazy and unsafe practice created an unpleasant environment for paying customers."

"I am very happy that we decided to dine at this restaurant today! The atmosphere was inviting and the menu looked fantastic, so we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed! The food was incredibly delicious, the portions were generous, and the price was very reasonable (£20 per person for two courses including tip). There was also a large selection of vegetarian options available. Additionally, I received a complimentary dessert. The service was top-notch, as everyone was very friendly and attentive. My friend was drinking a lot of water and they noticed, bringing him a larger glass for his refill without us even having to ask. We have never experienced this level of service elsewhere and we truly appreciated it. The music playlist was also great!"

"The meal was delicious, the staff was attentive, and they refilled our teapots with water several times without us having to ask. The restaurant had bamboo sushi mats as partitions, giving us the feel of our own private space. I booked in advance over the phone for my birthday, which was a quick process. They even offered to keep my cake in their fridge. The only small issue was that their card machine was broken at the end, so they only accepted cash. However, they provided an option to pay via bank transfer with a £2 fee starting tomorrow."

"Due to covid restrictions, all dining was outdoors. Our table was a bit small, especially as we ordered four dishes with rice. We came here to taste their Singapore chilli crab as we had heard its excellent unfortunately they informed us they had ran out of it during lunch time. We ended up ordering other dishes which didn’t disappoint! Especially the spicy aubergine in yellow bean sauce was excellent! The price was what you’d expect of a restaurant of this quality."

"We started off with some delicious Jasmine tea, served generously in a hot metal pot. We also enjoyed some Sake, served at the perfect temperature and quantity. The flavour was exceptional. For our main dishes, we ordered the quarter duck, which came with plenty of shredded meat and pancakes. We were pleasantly surprised to have leftover pancakes, unlike other restaurants. The entire team at The Good Earth is dedicated to providing top-notch service. Next, we tried the steamed sea bass, which was presented beautifully. The seasoning was perfect, and the temperature of the filleted fish was just right. It was expertly cooked, as there wasn't a single bone in sight. The egg fried rice was served in a sturdy bamboo container with a lid and spoon to keep it warm. After our feast, we unfortunately didn't have room for dessert, but we will definitely try it next time. We often visit the Knightsbridge branch for lunch, but the overall experience at this Mill Hill location was on a different level. "We decided to give Radhuny another chance on New Year's Eve, after avoiding it since March due to disappointing service. Unfortunately, our experience was still poor. We were seated under the air conditioner and when we mentioned it was cold, nothing was done. We were not offered to move. The wine was brought to our table without asking if we wanted to try it, and it was already opened and had a glass consumed from it. We had to flag down another waiter when the first one disappeared without a word. The Prawn puree starter was served cold and we had to ask for it to be reheated. The main dishes came out but we had no cutlery to eat with, and had to borrow from the table next to us. We had to wave our arms to signal another waitress for cutlery, with no apology given. When we asked for a glass of the wine we had been drinking, we were told we could only have the house wine. We suggested paying for a glass from the opened bottle, but were informed it was only for the manager. There was no attempt to make amends for the poor service, and a service charge was added which we had removed. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to Radhuny despite the great food, as the service was the worst we have experienced. We hope management will make improvements for future guests."

Unfortunately, this wasn't the right place for it. The food was just average, and while the service was decent, the atmosphere felt lacking since it was a midweek visit.
