"Thoroughly enjoyed coming here today, I definitely like the carpark system punch in your registration and you won't get charged for parking as long as your in the pub. Me and the wife ordered pub lunch, for starters we had soup of the day which was coriander soup and chicken wings, followed by the main which was, I ordered liver and onions with mash and gravy and veg, the wife ordered fish and chips washed down with a glass of Prosecco and a pint of lager shandy. The place was nice and clean there was a few customers also eating and the staff were very pleasant. I will definitely be coming back. Came back today with the in-laws for another great meal i had chicken wings starter with salad and barbecue sauce, followed by the mixed grill with pepper corn sauce. Washed down with a lager shandy. The ladies had chicken wing starter and the son inlaw had chicken guggons, the ladies had fish and chips main and the son inlaw had lamb chops. Once again everything came nice and presented. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The ladies had a bottle of Prosecco with there meal and the son inlaw had a pint of lager. I never have a sweet but the ladies ordered cheesecake with ice cream. Again that was nicely presented. Once again little b you done us proud thoroughly enjoyed our day and would like to thank the staff for a lovely service. PS I hope I don't get a bill for using the carpark, your in-house computer wasn't working, therefore I couldn't put my car registration in. Came here Friday afternoon for pub lunch with the wife. It was good to see the carpark system was backup running again. We walked into the pub and upto the bar to punch in my car details. Whilst at the bar we ordered our drinks white wine for the wife and lager shandy for myself. We found a nice spot in the corner where we sat, whilst looking at the menu. A lady waitress came over and asked us were we ready to order. I said yes and ordered a mix grill, the wife ordered fish and chips. The lady waitress who took the order came back over to apologise to the wife, apparently there was no more fish, would you have scampi instead to which my wife said okay. I notice the waitress name on her badge, Nikita. When the food came out it was nicely presented and hot. We ordered another round off drinks, same again. I noticed the pub was getting busy as the day wore on. Once again great service Nikita was very polite, she couldn't do enough for us and again she did apologise for not having the fish. Overall a great afternoon, a good atmosphere will definitely be coming back. Thanks for everything the Little B."

"The afternoon tea itself I.e. the food was good. There was a good choice of teas, coffees or a hot chocolate. I went for a normal tea my sister went for a hot chocolate. When the hot drinks came over I was a bit taken back that the milk had what looked like white round lumps in as I poured it into my tea. When we called someone over we explained that the milk I was given was off. They changed it without question but on the arrival of a new lot was told it isn 't off, we just never shook the bottle properly, but we opened a fresh one for you . The scones though were on the small side, I would of thought that they 'd of been a bit bigger then what we got, as one bite would of been all you needed. The service was alright, they checked every so often to see if everything was alright. The price on here was £39 but in reality it was £40 so I think the price on here needs to be updated but the part what I didn 't like is them adding their own service charge and tip onto my receipt. My sister wanted a a backpack so she was paying for that, and I was paying for the afternoon tea, which we explained when paying. But when I my receipt they charged me £45 as they added their own service charge and tip which I thought was a bit cheeky of them. My sister went to pay for what she was going to pay for and they was going to charge her for the afternoon tea which we explained again that I was the one paying for it. So when I got that receipt I said you can take that service charge and tip off as I am not paying that again. So instead of paying £80 for an average afternoon tea, I paid £85 but would of been £90 if I kept the second service charge and tip. I would of liked to of had a choice to pay a tip or not, If it was an out of this world afternoon tea then I wouldn 't mind paying that £80). Would it be worth £90 by all means no it wouldn 't of. Would I go back, no I won 't be going back."
