"Took my best friend for a bottomless prosecco afternoon tea. We really didn't know what to expect. It was absolutely lovely. The venue was quaint, lovely and very art deco. Our waiter was delightful and attentive. We were not prepared for the food to be as good as it was. The sandwiches were delicious and the cakes .... oh the cakes! So light and tasty. It truly was a taste sensation. We have done a few afternoon teas around London and we both agreed that this was by far the best ... and we have been to Fortnum Masons! We have decided to return every December and also try to fit in a summer one as well. Just fabulous. Thank you for such a fabulous afternoon. Exquisite. Lorna and Linda"

I ordered American pancakes and unfortunately got 3 small scotch pancakes that you buy in a pack in the supermarket!! Very disappointing as lovely place and friendly staff.

Wonderful afternoon tea on the BB bakery London Bus Tour. Generous and delicious food and we were looked after magnificently by Sapphire and the team. A must do when in London. We will definitely be back. Thank you

We decided to try afternoon tea at this restaurant after carefully considering various options in Central London, and we are so glad we did. The Christmas themed tea was delightful, and the food was excellent. The lovely setting and great staff added to the perfect occasion. We highly recommend it. View menu

Absolutely loved the Christmas bus afternoon tour. Samia, Leo Aziz were fantastically friendly and helpful, the food was lovely and in very good quantity, and of course the tour very well designed with lovely sights and Christmas hits playing. My parents I absolutely loved it and has such a great time.

We took the Grinchmas bus tour and it was decent. The food was average. The bus was warm and I was disappointed that there was 80s music instead of Christmas music on a tour with a "Grinch" theme. However, the Grinch cups were really adorable. I'm happy that I experienced it once, but I wouldn't do it again.

I had such high expectations about Afternoon Tea here, but unfortunately was left very disappointed. Sandwiches and cakes were not great, and there was a lack of finesse in the whole service experience. I have had Afternoon Tea in quite a few high establishments and I guess I can understand now why you’d pay a premium for that. A big shame but I wouldn’t recommend. View menu

Afternoon Gin tea for two. Pre-booked. Arrived and told table was ready but it was not. Only one tea cup and dirty, cutlery not clean. Prompt service, but my sandwiches arrived with cheese when I expressly said NO CHEESE. The place was crowded and the tables so small you could only get a teapot and 2 cups on them. Well what can I say...bad overall for the price when for a little more you could go to Fortnum just up the road. They have light years to go before they can match the world famous afternoon teat at Wedgwood.

Having afternoon tea on the Paddington bus is a must-do for any family! The food, atmosphere, and fun are unmatched. It was worth every penny. We celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday while touring London with commentary from Paddington himself! The onboard staff were fantastic, creating a party vibe for guests of all ages to enjoy. They engaged with every customer to make the experience unforgettable. The food was delicious and the value for money incredible - you even get a Paddington bear travel mug as a souvenir. It truly exceeded my expectations and the memories will last a lifetime. Thank you!

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
