"A wonderful interlude after our show was cancelled. Joppe was so attentive and friendly and the rest of the staff were great too. The bathroom was clean and spacious and environmentally friendly with proper hand towels. The drinks menu had everything you could need and everything was easy to find. They use paper straws. Wonderful tapas snacks and beautiful decor. I can really recommend their infused gins. This bar made us want to book the adjacent hotel next time we visit. Really great bar."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"Victors have changed it is more like a tapas style restaurant where dishes arrive at different time. Just very unorganised some people in the party received their food 30 minutes after the rest of the party had finished. Waitress was nice and very pleasant but the kitchen were unable to accommodate any slight change to a dish. Wouldn’t go back or recommend."

"came here before a performance in the royal albert hall, a little early before our booking, but that was 't a problem and we sat immediately. service was a little slow to order, but eating was great! starters were chicken pliers and the popcorn garnel that was delicious. then we both got the bacon cheese smokehouse burger, which was also delicious. not too big, where you can't even hold it, great chips and beautiful 'schlaue. the BBQ sauce on the table was also delicious. tables very close together and busy atmosphere and she added a 12.5% service fee, which was somewhat annoying, but overall, a great experience, would return."

"We use to come here years ago and loved the place. I’m not sure what has happened but I was not overly impressed with this place. The dish I ordered was not tasteful and felt like a complete chore to eat. Before when ordering shelled fish the chef would cut a little in the crab shell to make a little easier to access the meat. The sauce was too much and very bland, nothing garlic about it. We were seated in a corner and directly behind us was a table for two. I was praying that no one would sit behind us as it would make it hard for anyone to move. Unfortunately, some was seated behind us and it was a tight squeeze for everyone. I had to go to the bathroom the poor gentleman who was sitting behind me had to retract his elbows, whist eating, to allow me to pass by him. The same for his companion, who had to disturb me to get by. In all not a comfortable meal or an enjoyable one at all."

"I recently celebrated my friend's birthday at this restaurant and had an amazing experience. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and the atmosphere was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. My partner and I shared the roll combo, which was more than enough for us. The lobster roll was delicious and a unique twist on a classic dish. Overall, I have nothing negative to say and would definitely come back. I gave it 4 stars because they cannot accommodate groups larger than 8, which meant our group of 12 had to sit separately."

"if they are looking for somewhere to dinate with a group of friends, family or even their partner, then sticks n sushi won't give them up. this location is absolutely beautiful and in beautiful canary wharf. the decor and layout of the restaurant is simple yet aesthetically appealing. many options to choose from in the menu and I am sure that everything you choose will be satisfied. we enjoyed everything from edamame and calamari to sushi and scallops. we have the hot cataific (scallops.) they were crispy on the outside and yet soft and tasty on the inside. the scallops themselves tasted very fresh and the aromas of this selection worked very well together. we recommend this very much! the staff was fantastic and very helpful when it came to order. they are very well informed about the menu and gave some good recommendations!"

"Cool place with live music, lovely staff, great drinks (quite expensive, but it 's the price you will find by going to a nice bar). You might need a reservation before going there. My friends and I were attracted by the rock bar style and the dirty burgers ads. They had red wine and I went for a gin and tonic cocktail with raspberry and mint. It was definitely a great idea. The drink tasted a perfect combination of all ingredients. However, the venue was busy and we decided to stood up using the bar as table. Suddenly some stripper came out and started dancing. We were quite embarrassed but it was fun anyway. I definitely recommend this place, but if you do not want to watch the strippers, just their website in advance."

"We loved the little tapa' we got made by the chef (octopus with onions and a nice dressing) The starters were amazing too. My partner had half a lobster and chips and I had the sea bass with clams, both were spot on and a nice side of courgetti with parmesan. I must say that the service was amazing a french girl served us the whole time, not overwhelming or lack of enthusiasm, all on the right tone. I also have an allergy and she always walked us through the ingredients of every meal . The space and atmosphere incredible too and around the corner of my house. Really worth it. "To celebrate our 59th wedding anniversary, we decided to have lunch at the Compleat Angler in Marlow on October 30th. Our server was charming, and we enjoyed chatting about her family and life in Marlow. We chose the Compleat Angler because it was a favorite spot for us over 60 years ago when we were dating. However, upon returning home from our anniversary trip, we found a parking ticket for staying in the hotel car park for just over an hour, with a £100 fine if not paid. We were unaware of any notices, and there was no one at Reception to inform us of this. It is now past 11 am, and the Manager, Sarah Murray, has yet to arrive. Unfortunately, the only way to dispute the fine with UKPC is through letter or email. This incident has surely put a damper on our once happy memory of the Compleat Angler in Marlow. Very disheartening and a little frustrating."
