"Cool vibe and absolutely delicious food I had a business lunch and the person I was meeting suggested 3 South Place Bar Grill at the South Place Hotel. I asked some friends and no one had heard of it but I checked the website and it looked good and the menu sounded very yummy. ... When you read curry oil, heavy comes to mind but it was just a touch and the green apple and coriander salad made the dish feel very light and in a way, more spring like versus winter. Roasted Cornish cod, roast peppers, Yorkshire chorizo, white beans and oregano : this was a gorgeous winter dish with the beans and chorizo. The beans were al-dente and the fish was a gorgeous piece of tall white and flaky cod...read more"

really cute atmosphere and decoration along with the great location. the food was slightly underwhelmed (wouldn not recommend the duck on the brunch menu, rather dirty over all), but the desert was fab (forest cake). I would be back for drinks, but the menu needs some extra season!

they have an intimate dachband that I visited a few times before, but I didn't know much about their brunch! (yes, my new obsessence.) the city area during the weekend is the definition of the ghost town – this has not stopped south place from flowering. I arrived at 12 o'clock when the atmosphere was very chilled as they would expect from a hotel – at 2pm it was full of lazy meeting.

A nice ambience and quick and friendly service. The scallops for the starter were amazing, full of flavour. Had the sirloin steak medium rare for the main and this was the opposite end of the spectrum fatty chewy and a bit bland. The peppercorn sauce with the chips were better received a complimentary glass of wine on arrival and were also given a complimentary cocktail to finish due to an order mix up. Would go back, but perhaps order a different main.

The hotel in which this restaurant is located is a real pearl in the City, and is the house for the Michelin starred Anglar restaurant. It's a boutique 5 star hotel, packed with modern art and buzzing with people until midnight during workdays, thanks to two nice bars. Even better to go there during summer as there are nice terraces. The food is a nice modern european mix, with hints of British, French and Italian. Dishes decently priced and perfectly cooked, good choice of wines.

the south place hotel is located between moorgate and liverpool street, it is partly a member club and partly open to then public, including a Michelin star restaurant. some brunch offers are often seen on open table. beautiful place with 7 etagens, among them some outside areas. recently eat in the ground floor restaurant and it was delicious with really good attention service. a few of the starters were on the small side, but the netzen were decent between us we had the chicken cake, lamb, burger and risotto and all were clean teller!

I was here yesterday to try 3 spice place. I had visited the angler on the top floor of this hotel only two weeks back, which proved to be soou well, I wanted to try another place in the same building. her website really has me in. our menu of authentic Indian home cooking was served by 3 south place chef, maheshwaran, inspired by his recipes authentic indian food I was delighted we were served first brot and butter, which we thought when we had Indian food. the pappadams came with the appetizers that we had the lamb kebab and tandoori lachs that were succulent and well seasoned with the right amount, but a tad...read more

3 South place is a new and trendy hotel located north of Moorgate on South Place, opened up by the D&D group (who runs restaurants such as Coq d’Argent, Floridita, New Street Grill) and this is their first venture into hotels. The hotel is beautiful, trendy, relaxing (also good location, as Moorgate needed a fancy hotel, as there was nowhere where to go to if you wanted that kind of environment) and it has 2 restaurants, both serving British food and run by chef Tony Fleming, the “3 south place bar grill” and “Angler restaurant” on the top of the building, which is more expensive and a more white table cloth/serious restaurant. I went to the “3 South Place grill”...read more

Have you heard of it? It is a new-ish boutique luxury hotel set in the City of London near Moorgate, few minutes from Liverpool Street with beautiful and stylish Conran interior design. I guess it is still very much a secret for all but once you get to know it, you will definitely be coming back or be recommending it to friends! I've visited 3 South Place twice now and have enjoyed their lovely Sunday Brunch Menu both times with the loveliest company! So during the weekend, there is a special weekend brunch menu where you can choose from having 2 courses for £20 or 3 courses for £25. Pretty reasonable especially knowing that the Executive Chef Tony Fleming only uses the freshest...read more
