Succulent lobster meat blended with a touch of mayo and spices, served in a soft, buttery roll for a taste of coastal delight.

"We thought we had finally discovered a good, authentic Italian restaurant on the Fylde coast. However, we were disappointed. The atmosphere on a Thursday evening was loud, making it necessary to shout to have a conversation. The Italian minestrone soup we ordered did not meet our expectations. The risotto was overcooked, resembling rice pudding in texture. The carbonara was bland. This was our first and last time dining at this establishment. Service: Dine in."

"We booked a table in advance as we was a large group We were asked to pre-order our food which we did via email We was also told explicitly to wear masks Attended site and no staff wearing masks when they were walking around...or attending to the tables Sat down to be told only the light bite menu was available (not full menu which e had pre-ordered from) Really disappointing as we had only had a small breakfast expecting to eat a three course meal. Food was lovely. We then went to order three cream teas to be told the kitchen had shut, at no point when ordering or when food was brought over was we informed the kitchen would be shutting soon and if we wanted pudding to order it before three. What was really annoying is one of our group even said about ordering pudding at the same time as the meal and the bar persona said it’s fine to order after We had to challenge the staff to get three cream teas which we did get but not with a smile And smiles were in fact non existent in the bar Absolute shame because the place is so beautiful set on a cliff with waves crashing Some advice for the pub do better with communicating kitchen availability and smile, plus wearing of masks during a pandemic"

"Big thumb up to Climats!! Climats in Time out is a real gem! the location is right across from the elevator that’s easy to find. Recently tried their risotto, and it was fantastic. The rice was cooked just right, creamy and packed with flavor. I was impressed by how well they presented it, even in a food court setting. The staff were friendly and quick, which made the whole experience even better. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a cozy meal, Climats is perfect. It's definitely my go-to spot now for good food in a relaxed setting."

"We have visited the Abrahams Cafe over many years on our visits to the Lakes, always enjoying a mug of Hot Spiced Apple and a slice of cake. Sadly weeks ago we discovered the cafe has been re-vamped (and not for the better). No...more Hot Apple and the cakes on display looked over-indulgent and not what we were after. The cafe had lost its simple honest feel, now an overpriced art/print store. Needless to say we didn't stay for coffee/cake and ate elsewhere, such a shame."

"My husband and I went to this restaurant on a Saturday night and it was quite noisy with live music and lots of people talking, but I didn't mind because it created a lively atmosphere. The food was more expensive than what we usually pay (£85 for 3 courses each and a bottle of house wine), but it was delicious and well presented with generous portion sizes. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly. Overall, we had a great dining experience and would recommend it, especially for a special occasion."

"Located in the prestigious Harrods foodhall, this charming seafood bar is perfect for a solo indulgence or a get-together with friends. The friendly and attentive staff, coupled with dim, intimate lighting, create a welcoming atmosphere. The menu features fresh and flavorful dishes, complemented by a fantastic selection of wines. Sit at the oval seating surrounding the central kitchen for a front-row view of the culinary action, giving you the sensation of sitting at the chef's table."

"My partner and I visited this cafe during a weekend trip to London. We were drawn in by the enticing smells emanating from the kitchen as we strolled around the city. Although we arrived near closing time, we couldn't resist taking home a couple of desserts from their display. We chose the blueberry and coconut cake and the oat and raisin cookie, both of which were delicious. The blueberry cake was our favorite, with a delectable icing in the middle. The next morning, we returned for brunch and enjoyed two dirty chai lattes, a Cuban club sandwich, and buttermilk pancakes with banana, chocolate chips, peanut butter, and maple syrup. The portions were generous and satisfying. We explored other cafes in the area but ultimately returned to Trade for more desserts to enjoy after a concert - this time trying the carrot cake and chocolate and date bar, both of which were equally delicious. The staff, including Louise, were all friendly and accommodating, especially when we asked to share our dishes. We would definitely return if we find ourselves in the area again."

"Two young people were a pleasure to meet when we stopped off for a stroll on the harbour. Excellent, friendly and professional service all with a smile. Provided a couple of sausages for our dog and our crab sandwiches were delicious in chunky fresh wholemeal bread. Lovely coleslaw served too. Compared to other sandwiches we have eaten these were"

"I would have given this restaurant a higher rating if the burger was better! It is clear that this restaurant is geared towards meat and fish lovers, but they do offer vegan and vegetarian options as well. The decor is lovely and the atmosphere is nice and quiet, although the air conditioning could have been turned down a bit as it was quite chilly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was of great quality in terms of presentation and overall standard, but lacked in flavor. The truffle fries were outstanding, but the vegan burger was dry and tasteless. Despite the efforts put into the fillings, the overall taste fell short. A different type of patty would greatly improve the dish. I did not try the drinks, but I am eager to return and sample the cocktail menu, as it looks fantastic. I will definitely be back to try the drinks!"

"Our wedding took place in August 2022, and after much consideration, we feel it is important to share our experience at Harrild Sons. We chose this venue based on their positive online reviews, but were disappointed to find out that the venue had changed hands earlier in the year. This change seemed to have a negative impact on the service we received on our big day. Despite our initial agreement with the venue, there were multiple issues that arose. The wedding manager assigned to us seemed inexperienced and unprepared, leading to several errors during the day. Our welcome drinks were not served to guests, our £2k bar tab was not communicated to staff, and our wedding cake was not served to guests. Additionally, the quality of the food did not match what we had tasted during our initial meeting, and there were several other mishaps throughout the day. Overall, we were disappointed with the level of service we received and had to fight to receive any sort of compensation. We hope that sharing our experience will prevent others from going through the same disappointment. If you are considering booking with Harrild Sons, we advise being cautious to avoid similar issues. Thank you for reading."

"Ate at Oyster Creek Kitchen for our wedding anniversary with some friends (also celebrating their wedding anniversary). Arrived about 15 mins early but no problem in being sat down at our table. Prompt service by our waiter with drinks orders and run through on the “catch of the day”. I have a gluten issue and the menus are all marked appropriately for gluten free so no issues with choosing at all. All starters were served (Garlic Prawns, Lobster Ravioli, Crab Hushpuppies) and were all very nice. Also had some oysters with the starters (we had the O.C.K style) which were excellent. Nice break between our starter and main course which was welcomed. Mains served together (Perch catch of the day, New England Lobster Roll, Penang Seafood Curry Salmon and Chorizo). Everyone said how much they enjoyed their main dishes. Again nice break between the mains and the dessert coming out (Cheesecake and Churros). Waiting staff were all friendly and attentive and looked after us all through the night. Cost wise, it’s probably not your everyday family restaurant but for a special occasion was incredibly nice and we enjoyed the experience. Would definitely go back."

"My wife and I had the fixed lunch menu yesterday: The good part of the experience was the view over to Fife. The rest was disappointing. The parsnip veloute was very tasty, but there was not enough of it in the bottom of the plate to cover the spoon. The duck leg was served with a few small squares of kale, and two sauces, both fairly bland and there was very little meat on the duck leg after the skin, gristle, and bone had been set aside. The poached pear dessert was underwhelming, a good enough poached pear, served with a small amount of hazelnut cake on the side and an even smaller amount of chocolate cream, very disappointing. The food smacked of being plated on site, but not prepared on site. £50 per head, for £25's worth of food. The drinks were extortionately priced, £10 for each 125ml glass of cava, with my wife's third glass being only 2/3rds full when it was presented to us, (had they run out and were just hoping we wouldn't notice? . Very poor beer selection, one pale ale and one lager, I paid £8.50 for a can of unknown lager. Overall, a very disappointing and grossly over priced experience, the pricing not helped by the over £17 discretionary service charge that was on the final bill, (we declined to pay that part . When asked at payment if everything had been okay, I stated that it had been very disappointing. They did not ask us why, because they knew!!! My advice, eat elsewhere, there are plenty of places with better food and offering much better value for money!"

"Our 3rd visit, and not our last! As ever, it was busy but there again, it was Easter Monday. The shack is on the main road through Dungeness, just past Prospect Cottage and on the way to the power station. Plenty of parking on the road and with a small car park just ahead. The fish is fresh that day, served with delicious fried potatoes. It is excellent, and quite the eating experience to sit there in such an unusual environment. Plenty of walks along the shore or down to the miniature railway station. Finish off with an ice cream and don’t forget there is plenty of fresh fish also available to take home."

"fresh sourded and bone mark. enough said, my life is complete. the brot was warm and soft with a crispy crust, and the brand rich and salty, melt into the brot. what a heavenly start. monkfish was tasty, but disappointing small, courgette flower filled with cod brandada was intense and tasty, and solomillo was rare and beautiful delicate. the fries are crispy and tangy with paprika and extremely beaten aioli, and red paprika were soft and sweet. I thought we should have had that steak or one of the sharers, but I think it would have been good if they were guessing that what we ordered was not enough for dinner for 2. also the teeny little dishes arrived one at a time would have felt more like a meal if they had been a little more together. if we had not borrowed, we would have ordered more. probably the service would go back was ultra friendly and the bits we had were beautiful. it has a good mood and decor is fresh and clean. keeps another chance and lessons learned about order!"

"My partner took me out for a lovely meal at Goodmans, which had been highly recommended by several people, and it did not disappoint. We began with lobster and tempura prawns, both of which were incredibly delicious. For our main course, we each had filet steak, cooked to perfection, accompanied by tasty chips. The pepper sauce and the spinach and mushroom sides were delightful. Overall, the meal was a fantastic tasting experience, and we can't wait to come back. The service was excellent, and we loved the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant."

"Just off the main Harbour away from all the main hustle and bustle is this little gem of a place. I wish I could describe it in one worrd but it's more than just one thing it sells bottles of wine, sparkling wine and champagne. It also has a small seating area inside and outside to the front where you can have a glass or two of what you fancy. They also serve platers of food to go with the drink of your choice. The service is great and the owner not only has a fantastic choice of wine champagne and beers he has lots of knowledge of all he sells to. We had a couple of glasses of champagne with a plater of cheese and it was that good and that relaxing we had a bottle of champagne and spent the afternoon there just watching the world go by. I would not go back to Padstow if it did not include a vist here. Totally recommend it."

"Took a week away to go to Cornwall just out of season, we had just finished up at the Eden Project so decided to head to Charlestown where we came across this delightful food master piece! Had a sneaky review of the place first and after seeing people's reviews, thought, let's do this! Lovely lady that served us, so genuine and polite. Our table number was called out, we collected out fish finger sandwiches and chips.......... it was really good. It's simple food done well and the service is good. If you get the opportunity to visit Charlestown, then don't overlook this place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"We went for dinner and were asked immediately for our drink order the second we sat down. After ordering we waited for around 10 minutes (in a near empty restaurant) to find out that our order hadn’t been passed on and asked to reorder. Understandable though as the first waiter was young and everyone has to learn. We then have our food order taken, a chicken salad and a steak with 2 separate sides, to which the chicken salad came out without any chicken, and the sides did not come at all. After sending back the salad just for chicken to be put on top, I was told the salad was being remade unnecessarily as that meant my partner had to eat his steak while it was hot with no sides and me sat with nothing in front of me for a good 15 20 minutes. After I got my salad back (still no sides) I had finished it and were going to ask to forget about the side orders as there was no point, however couldn’t catch the eye of anyone as they appeared to be too busy trying to please the older guests at the other side of the room. After we were both finished our food the sides appeared (another 15 minutes later), with no apology from the waiter. We finished our food and tried to ask for the bill after trying to catch the eye of anyone working (which again proved very difficult). For so many things to go wrong with our food you would think the manageress that was going about would approach the table at least once, however she avoided our table like the plague, which very much made it seem like because we were younger we were put to the sidelines. Our full bill came including a £10 service charge with no offer of any sort of discount or even apology from any member of staff, just a snide attitude from the waiter when he saw that no tip was coming his way. After we had paid, there was not even a quick thank you from the waiter who had taken the payment, in the full knowledge of how our experience had gone. For the price we paid for the meal, what we received did not nearly match up. We did not complain at the time as had another booking we had to get to however would like to make it known how unhappy we were at the experience and the way we were treated by the restaurant."
