"First night out after outside spaces open and what a let down! Sat next to the fire not requested) and every time door opened to add fuel or stoke the fire ash went into eyes and worse on food. We had 3 tables booked however when i was left alone on my 3 I was expected to stay there without going my colleagues. My cocktails which I paid for went to a table of blokes drinking beer, clearly not cocktail drinkers and waited 20 mins in total for new ones. My friend got stuck in the porter cabin toilets and was told by member of staff that it was supposed to be locked and she broke in therefore he wouldn 't help door was clearly open prior to her entering and had been used by other people previously) Only when she started kicking the door did he let her out and then manager expected an apology from her and had to argue with him to get an apology for her! We were told not to stand up as 'it spread covid more than sitting down ' without masks! We are NHS worked and worked throughout the lock downs and this was a revelation to us, covid spreads more standing up than when sitting down, does the Minister of Health know that?! What a joke, service poor, food average, attitude ridiculous. But guess this was because regulations were flouted by them and they were caught previously but talk about going over board! Even the bouncers were embarrassed when we were asked to leave for moving between our 2 tables although there were less than 6 people on both and us doing lateral flow tests before attending which we are required to do twice weekly as per NHS protocol!"
