"ordered the veg thali (my friend had the vegan.) £17, but they don't get much for their buck. taste was pretty good, but overpriced, also for the center of london. I was not served dessert as it was specified on the menu, but we would run out of time so I don't mention it. if I return, instead of a full grain curry and rice ordering the wein, sauvignon blanc (not my favorites, anyway, but it was either that or pinot grigio) was not the best, but at least it was not expensive. I should have ordered alcohol-free drink with a good idea."

"I and my fiancé trusted deepali with their input to ideas for the design and taste of our engagement cake. it is very knowledgeable and very trustworthy. next to the cake design amazing, the taste was so beautiful and the texture was moist. I can't get enough of this beautiful white circle, gold airbrushed cake, and it's red with tasty interior! always remember to go to cake tasting before they order their cake, and always remember that they went for the best customer service. we could not be happier with us! thanks. dipyumkuchen x"

"we had a few parties in this restaurant before and therefore have enjoyed each other again and again and decided to have a triple celebration in their banquet hall. from the first day when we met the fronts, we were treated with a male personal alene that could not be less helpful than anything we asked was rejected and would not meet halfway to finish the deal. At any rate we agreed to her accusations and decided to try food for which we had to pay in full amount, not even a small discount, from which we complained about the chicken ktikka, as had a full taste, she did not even offer to replace, but then we asked to make sure that chicken ktikka be chest pieces and was assured at 2 points, but at the day of the celebration they served cheap chicken pieces. on the day everything went into order, apart from huhn tikka starter and not the same experience with food. at the end, when we have the bill we owe a refund of the payment we paid and said it was refunded at the earliest. also the person who was busy with us, said he would grab us the left of the buffet when we filled in a positive feedback, what a deal! then we started to follow the refund as it was not processed as promised. we have always called and were given excuses, will last a week, up to two weeks, has been processed, but not, then the person who processes the refund is on vacation, and finally, when speaking with the refund lady reshmi was said, no worries her get her refund, but we only processed in mass therefore delayed! what a lot of nonsense it took seconds to take money in advance from us, but when it came to our money back so many lie, 2 weeks delay and numerous phone calls with frustration. so much to give recurring business, never again."

"I frequent different Indian restaurants for different purposes: Saravanaa Bhavan (authentic vegeterian), Dishoom (excellent chain with good quality and service), Tamarind (luxury), Brigadiers (business), Gunpowder (Hipster. Beers with friends) and of course Durbar for the past 20+ years was my 'go to ' local curry house. Unfortunately, 'Durbar ' has gone downhill very rapidly. They no longer serve alcohol (there is nothing as nice as a beer with a curry), the quality of the meat is tough, the quantity of the food is paltry, the service is non existent, the prices are sky high and the atmosphere is dire. Goodbye and RIP Durbar. Thank you for the last 20 years. It was good while it lasted."

"My favourite Indian in Basingstoke! What can I say about Tuli to do it justice? Whether eating in or having a takeaway you will not be disappointed."

"The Restaurant was a great find. Went there as a party of 3 for my birthday lunch treat today. The lunch menu has limited number of dishes compared to the evening one but are very well balanced. I have never seen kadhi chaval and channa jor garam on a uk restaurant menu, so well done for being so original. The restaurant is located nearest carpark 2, so best to park there. The restaurant decor has many traditional Rajisthani puppets hanging high above the restaurant entrance, nice touch. We ordered 3 starters (Street food) which we shared, they had the correct balance of sweet, hot and sour tastes, although I did compliment mine with additional tamrind, chilli and coriander sauces. We ordered different versions of the Thali. This was impressive indeed. The variety of items, presentation, flavour, temperature and amount of food served in the thali (the circular stinless steel plate) was perfection itself. Every dish had its own traditional Rajisthani unique flavour, could not fault it. Thank you Sohan for your personal courtesy you showed us, the table you had reserved for us, my birthday wishes and for having created a truely great, clean, restaurant with a memorable menu. This was amongst the very best food I have ever had, a great birthday feast. It was a true gastronomic delight for my tastebuds. The restaurant is now firmly on my agenda, a great find indeed. "One of good place where you can get the Indian street food!! The place is small and good, nice food good and hygiene. The prices are cheap compared to other restaurants. Everything was perfect nothing to complain. Bit challenging to find a parking slot. Overall, it’s 4.5/5. Definitely give it a try!! Note: The pics were taken under the blue light!!"

"Don't let the appearance of the exterior deter you from trying this restaurant. Once inside, you'll find a charming atmosphere and excellent service. I appreciated being able to order items as we went along, making for a more relaxed dining experience."

"During my first visit to Comum, I found the food to be quite enjoyable, and the waitstaff were attentive without being overbearing. However, I was disappointed because we had made our reservation based on the 50% off mains offer listed on their website for January. Unfortunately, we were informed upon arrival that there were several conditions attached to this promotion, which were only communicated over the phone when making the reservation and not mentioned on the website. It was a missed opportunity for the staff to clarify these details when we arrived for our meal. While I understand that marketing can sometimes bring people in, it feels misleading when the discount isn’t honored as expected. The staff mentioned they would discuss this with management to ensure more information is available on the website, and I sincerely hope that happens."
"The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. However, I believe there should be more sauces provided with the poppadoms. For a group of four, there should ideally be four bowls—two at each end—so that everyone can easily access the sauces without having to stretch. Unfortunately, the noise level and the language used by other customers were quite inappropriate, and the waitstaff did not address the issue."

"The best Indian restaurant in the world! I currently live in the United States, but when I was in London, I would make the 45-minute drive up the M25 just to dine at this place."
