Fresh and vibrant mango salad with a tangy lime dressing, garnished with peanuts and cilantro for a tropical twist.

"I’ve only ever walked through the Corn Exchange once. Many many years ago. It completely bored me. I remember it being sparse, unimaginative with not much in there apart from the occasional art exhibition (the exhibits were always pretty good though). From the moment we heard Pho Manchester was opening, this restaurant sparked controversy in our house. Mo and I battled it out on how to pronounce this restaurant’s name, our Fantastic Four whatsapp group even changed to ‘Foh’ or ‘Fuh’ whilst we both constantly pleaded cases to prove each other wrong. A quick tweet led to Pho showing this:"

"The restaurant is very nicely decorated but the food and service do not match to that experience. We were sat so close to other people on other tables it was like were dining with them. We attended pre concert and chose the concert menu. The appetisers came within minutes of ordering, there wasn't a lot for the price. The mains we had to wait over 45 minutes for which was not good and we kept being told it was on the way. The food when it came was average curry really. It had obviously been cooked in a huge batch as it was on the set menu so not sure why it took so long. The service was not great...we were never asked if the food was ok or if we wanted another drink. We only had Coke and this was rather expensive at £3 for a tiny bottle.... Overall i think the place is very nice but the food was average at best and the service poor. The set menu was £25 per person which was not value for what you actually got. We saw a 10% service charge on our bill which we asked to be removed. Tried it, but wouldn't go back again."

"Myself and my wife have been to Zayna four times during recent trips up the Chiltern line to London and it is, quite simply, fabulous. The curry is second to none in central London and as true Brummies, we know our curries . We have been, in previous visits to more expensive and well marketed Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani eateries in and around Marylebone and Fitzrovia one of which is even boasted that he unmissable hideousness of a table full of loadsamoney noisy oafs which I don’t seem to recall were part of that particular restaurant website’s sales pitch. In any case, none can touch Zayna. We had Mukhun Murgh, Aloo Gobi, and Tarka Dhaal. We accompanied our mains with the sublime garlic naan you simply must… peas pilau, and the garlic pilau chef’s kiss . So, we will keep going back. The hospitality from Shan and his staff is always one of the warmth and good humour. The cuisine is excellent. The atmosphere cosy, and the personal touches of a family run restaurant there for the keen eye to see. It’s worth it alone for the two magnificent hand carved mirrors that adorn one wall, that took one man and one chisel six months to complete. You must go."

"This restaurant is fantastic for those with dietary restrictions, as almost everything on the menu is gluten-free and dairy-free. They are accredited by Coeliac UK and have a user-friendly allergy menu available online and in-person. The staff were knowledgeable about our restrictions and provided excellent assistance."

"Pho is one of my go to takeaway options as the food is DELICIOUS and the majority of the menu is gluten free. The website clearly shows which items are NOT gluten free on a dedicated gluten free page, which mentions that they are accredited by Coeliac UK. (It's refreshing to see the none GF options presented as 'outside the norm' rather than the other way around! . There are plenty of vegetarian options for those who are veggie and GF I highly recommend the 'This isn't chicken' summer rolls with peanut sauce and the Wok fried 'THIS isn't chicken' rice (It is quite spicy though so avoid if you want a milder dish . I've also had the wok fried noodles which are lovely. Every dish is packed with flavour!"

"I absolutely love Pho because of the food but I went yesterday and it was the worst experience. I am never one to make a complaint but the service I received was awful. The girls were so rude and had such attitude problems. I ask for the optional service to come off because I was not happy with the service and she got even more grumpy. Saying the service wasn’t the problem. Don’t think I will be returning to the Brighton branch again."

"This was my first time visiting Clicia, but my friend had been there before. When we arrived at 7:45, the restaurant was empty. However, after the local fireworks ended, the service was a bit slow as there was only one waiter, but we were not in a rush. The menu offered a good selection of Turkish/Mediterranean dishes, and the food we ordered was superb. My fish medley was very good, albeit spicier than expected, but paired well with the creamy yogurt (which was brought out promptly when requested). We washed our meal down with Efes beer and finished with Turkish coffee. The waiter was polite, and the ambiance was pleasant without being too loud. Overall, a very enjoyable experience - I just wish the restaurant was closer to where I live!"

"Overflowing with style, one of the classiest Indian restaurants in town, with friendly staff and exquisite cuisine. The lamb shops never fail, and the Dhansak is sublime, in fact, it's all great!"

"Was unsure of what to order and the staff were nice and recommended certain items on their menu. In the end, opted for the quesadillas, which were honestly the best I’ve had. The quesadillas came with tortilla chips and sour cream sauce with sauce el verde. The interior of the store was stunning and there was a good amount of seats in the seating area. Will definitely visit again to try out more of the menu."

"The Menu is brilliant and has a great array of choices. In the end we chose the baba ganouch starter to share it cae with quite exquisite crumbly goat's cheese and garlicky baba ganouch and a beautiful puffed up bread followed by mixed kebab for 2 (it's a Turkish restaurant after all the kebab was barbequed lamb, chicken breast, legs and wings with a big lamb shsih kebab, salad and we had fries..all were delicious and plenty for 2....finished off with good turkish coffee (black, slightly sweetened) and turkish tea (black, no milk) and turkish delight superb.....The service was brilliant..even had my fortune told based on the coffee grounds! This is the second time we have been there and there will definitely be a third time and more..."

"We ordered our main courses and requested a side of steamed seasonal vegetables. Unfortunately, just like our previous visit, we were informed that the steamed vegetables were not available. We weren't keen on any of the other side dishes, so we asked if the chef could prepare a vegetable option that accommodated my wife's food intolerance. I mentioned that I could change my main course order if the appropriate vegetables weren't available. However, our server didn't return to inform us about what the chef could prepare, and soon after, our food arrived. It was a delicious meal featuring pasta, mushrooms, and some additional ingredients. We were also pleasantly surprised with a generous portion of potatoes, which we were told would not be charged. The main dish was abundant and very tasty. I also had dessert, a cheesecake that was excellent and served in a large portion. During the billing, I insisted on paying for the dessert. Both the server and the chef went out of their way to accommodate our requests, and they did a fantastic job. We genuinely appreciate their efforts, although we still would have preferred the steamed vegetables that were listed on the menu! Overall, it was a very good experience, and we are definitely looking forward to dining there again."

"The food is nothing special, the service is just not a restaurant service (which the waiter acknowledged and said he was actually really there for the bar). No knowledge of ingredients or of the cooking process. As we were there early (6pm) we benefitted from the Happy Hour in relation to drinks and some of our dishes. Therefore, the food was great value still, albeit mediocre in taste and certainly not something that makes Vietnamese people proud... The restuarnat itself is in a lovely room and it is disappointing that the food does not match the ambience. If you want a quick cheap meal go for it. If you want something tasty and special don't bother."

"So happy that we decided to book a meal at Yee Rah. Wonderfully friendly staff and great service and food. The restaurant was busy and people really seemed to be enjoying the food so I was ready to get stuck in. All classic cocktails are 2for1 which is great so you get 2 cocktails for £8.30 which is a bargain and they were lovely. Dough balls for starters were delicious and all the mains were stunning. All food was reasonably priced and the service was very quick but there seemed to be lots of chefs in the kitchen so no wonder it was so speedy!!! Katsu Curry is the best I’ve had so can not fault the food what so ever."

"The single handily worst meal and eating experience I’ve ever had in my 42 years on this earth , on New Years Eve nonetheless. The issues are too countless to even write but literally from start not knowing they even had alcohol and not knowing the word vodka to the food , severe goes to the hospital allergy that we mentioned over 7 times and still came out with the allergens, to the incredibly non interested management this week place was an absolute joke. If the steak was world class I’d try to give more credit but it was on the lower third of all steaks I’ve had in my life and I had the best surf and turf option on menu. Absolute horrible experience in ever possible way."

"The restaurant is beautiful and the food is excellent. However, the staff could benefit from some customer service training, as we had to wait a long time for them to clean our table, take our order, and bring our drinks. Additionally, the restrooms could use some thorough cleaning."

"Definitely one of the better restaurants in this location, would go again. Nicely decorated amwith friendly service. The Turkish bubble bread is fantastic. The food falls a little short of authentic Turkish food that I've had in smaller independent restaurants and in Turkey itself, but chain restaurants usually compromise a bit in this respect."

"La'De Kitchen is a decent restaurant with a Turkish menu with European influences. The appetizers, like goats cheese mixed with butter served with warm flatbread, were good but not outstanding. The borek was a bit oily and lacking finesse, while the vine leaves were just okay. The main dishes, however, were better. The lamb shish fillet was succulent and perfectly cooked, but with prices over £20, you would expect nothing less. The restaurant is quiet, making it a good spot for catching up with friends, but it's not the best in terms of value for money."

"I was in thai express a few times. it is not spectacular, but it is good enough (and convenient enough! that I go back and I have a loyalty card. it is easy to choose a dish (which with a lot of sauces, or a noodle dish, choose a protein and choose a level of heat. they then cook it fresh for them. When they take away, they put it in a charming little carry box. I am a sucker for good presentation. eating is decent. it takes fresh and is well cooked. I find a lot of sauces no matter what is disappointing. not exactly authentic Thai food, but it makes a decent lunch. and in portions are good. Maybe something overpriced for what it is."
