"While on a long road trip across the country, I needed some fuel and stumbled upon this restaurant. The Jamaican curry goat, served with tasty rice, soft roti, and fried plantains on the side, was exactly what I needed. All of this, plus a drink, only cost me about £21. The curry goat was packed with flavor, the meat was tender, and the sauce was delightful. The plantains were also fantastic and you get a generous portion. Overall, the food, ambiance, and price were all top-notch. I would definitely recommend this place."

"My wife and I visited this restaurant with a large group of friends after the Carloway show. The restaurant was very busy at the time, and they had a 30-minute power cut early on in the late afternoon. Despite this, they managed the situation exceptionally well. We both started with the local crab and mango salad, which was delicious. For our main course, we had the deep-fried haddock with peas, chips, and homemade tartar sauce, which was also very tasty. Other members of our group had the onion bhajis and duo of Stornoway Smokehouse salmon for starters, and the chicken and tarragon pie or chicken enchiladas for their main course. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and the evening was topped off with live music until late."

"dreadful service no organization. the first time I ever left a restaurant. in theory this restaurant has crossed all boxes, but in reality it is a catastrophe to be honest. we wait for minutes before we get a menu. finally in our order and minutes later no eating. we asked employees without joy after another organization no communication between the staff. at the end we left without food. music was very good tho! I really hope that they will find out how they organize the whole process and maybe employ more waiting workers. I'm really sorry"

"service restaurant we were the worst too. we arrived there 30 minutes before our booking. there was no point in booking because only one table was occupied. the staff told us to come back in 30 minutes, as the cook is very busy, we pointed out that we had a booking and it was only in table occupied. they then sat down and we waited 15 minutes before the rise and leave, as the personal ignored us and just talked to the tables. they were all obviously on a pause .. they did not even leave us and did not care. what is funny is any other restaurant in the center had a hurry to come. I doubt this place will survive"

"I took my partner here as a surprise for his birthday recently. A few years ago we travelled across Cambodia and enjoyed so much of the food we’d had there, so it was lovely to find a restaurant serving Cambodian dishes. When we arrived Marilynn...explained to us that Thomas was the only chef so waits could take slightly longer, but it meant that all the food was deliciously fresh. We were spoiled for choice and so chose the Set Menu because we couldn’t decide! Everything that came out was so tasty, especially our Lok Luk and Asparagus mains. Marilynn also took some time to sit down with us and explain how they’d started their restaurant up over 30 years ago, and how Thomas’ cuisine was a contemporary take on traditional dishes he had grown up with. To finish Marilynn gave us some Thai Banana Cakes- which my partner wolfed down! We loved visiting this restaurant, it was a charming evening, and we felt so welcomed- I’ll definitely be coming here again as there’s so much more on the menu I’d love to try! Thanks Thomas and Marilynn!"

"our first day in glasgow and thought we would try here as it was local where we stayed at a typical constant rain summer day. see online and saw that they offer meat free Mondays offer, with 25 percent of any non-meat court. we ordered as a mixed group (i.e. not all veggie / vegan) and some Parmesan friries were on the bill. when we came to pay the discount was not applied. when the server was interrogated, was it because of the Parmesan friars?? it could not be disturbed to argue about it, but will not go back another thing is that I had ordered a pickleback, but they did not have the ingredients and with the biscoff brownie they did not have the vegan ice cream as per menu. the weekly vegan special was .a falafel wrap updated by previous review on 2022-08-15"

"I can't exaggerate how delicious it was. we were a big group that all ordered something else. everything was carefully and freshly prepared and the food was clearly combined with love for detail and care. I had the noi (vegan) fish catcher, aubergine and tofu curry and was so satisfied with my decisions. simply the most tasty eating I've been making vegan for a few years."

"Last week, my train from Portsmouth to Three Bridges was cancelled, which was a huge inconvenience. I decided to look for a coffee and something to eat and stumbled upon this charming restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. The panini was delicious, the cake was equally tasty, and the coffee was expertly brewed. The service was outstanding as well. When I accidentally left behind a bottle of water I purchased, the server went out of his way to track me down and return it to me. He was incredibly friendly, welcomed my dog, and served everything promptly. I highly recommend this place. I don't usually visit Barnham, but I may just have to come back!"

"Very disappointing. Very very disappointing. I have eaten at this restaurant before but after eating there last week I will never go again. I ordered a panang chicken curry, the quality of the meat was poor, the sauce was thin and watery, the rice overcooked and my friends meal was supposed to have seafood in it and there were about 3 bits of seafood which were overcooked and it tasted of nothing. I am a big fan of Thai food and therefore was very disappointed with the quality of the food. We complained and got nowhere, they couldn't of cared less. The restaurant was busy so I think that they have just got to the stage where they are just serving in volume and not worrying about quality...read more"

"This restaurant has recently undergone new ownership, renovations and a complete overhaul. The new owners, Chris from London and Pui from Bangkok, have put a great deal of passion into the establishment. The cuisine is the finest Thai cuisine I have experienced in Edinburgh. The seafood is sourced daily from Leith and the Thai ingredients are imported weekly from Thailand, which truly enhances the dining experience. The restaurant has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere and exceptional service. Overall, it is some of the best food I have had the pleasure of enjoying."
