"Honestly wouldn’t recommend. Went for a birthday celebration- got ignored for the first 30 minutes of being sat at our table (this basically continued the whole night as well unfortunately). Serving staff were nice enough but sadly kept forgetting things (not bringing all the drinks over- having to remind them about the things not brought over). Food sadly the worst in most things: 0% recommend macaroni from here The boxed make at home kinds are better and that’s no exaggeration (dry, barely warm, no flavour, genuinely seemed reheated in a microwave). Nachos just as bad: toppings were wet (like watered down) and lacking in seasoning and flavour; the tortillas chips tasted stale. Bbq beef fajita was disappointing especially being more expensive for the beef itself. (Not worth it given it wasn’t the best) Such a shame as we have previously enjoyed going. Giving a 2* because the pecan pie was lovely and the drinks tasted good."

"I still have not my head, as the name of this restaurant should be pronounced, the best I can do is kao fi ray a, but what is certain that this is a great restaurant in the wonderful granit city, the restaurant seems a renovated bank on a scale from a cathedrale to Thai food with golden exotic statues that graze several key points. the atmosphere is intoxicating far east promise and must represent a significant investment in design and execution. the service was gracious and attentive at any time of mairi. we have been on prawn tom yum and kha, pork pliersloin, duck tamarinde, kokosreis and jasminreis plus two large bottles singaha for a total cost of £66 and very good value."

"Very underrated place. One of my favourite places to eat out at, only discovered it 3 months ago and I’ve already been here quite a few times. Thai food is often inauthentic in London, but at Greyhound Cafe you will surely find the food to be authentic. Do not miss out on their Holy Basil Chilli Bomb, or their Drunken Seafood Noodles dishes. The staff are very friendly, however, sometimes it is difficult to get their attention when trying to call them over to our table."

"I have visited the Thai square in fulham, south kenignton, but my favourite place is in putney brigde, meal after the sun is down through the rvier is simply stunning. services never disappoint that these young are very friendly and attentive - always, thank you. but the quality of food was really not the same. I dare to say without taste. too salty, my seafood hot dish for 17£ was not enough of everything. it wasn't as good as ever! our bill was up to now about 80-90 for a delicious dinner with the desert and we take quite exactly the same dishes each time. our bill without desert comes to £140. I've been disappointed!"

"my first experience of thai food. our friends went to chaophraya in edinburgh and loved it. Although chaophraya is a chain, it seems that everyone is something different. this special place had a beautiful ambiente and decor to put a chilled mood. we were received to sit up. a beautiful spacious opposite. a very wide menu, very well organized, but so hard to know what to choose with the many options. the only place where I have ever frangelico on the drink card! a definitive winner! a “must taste” drink! my eating option was very good and the additional egg frying was also not disappointed. Unfortunately my wife wasn't too sharp. the service is also friendly. they are observing and thoughtful support, where possible, very good. Although it seems to be a lot of waiters/waxes standing around you and eating you, which makes it easy to unpleasant. the toilet areas are clean and regularly controlled, keeping a clean standard. parking is also plentiful. there are many places to park, to walk from the restaurant. Thai food would not be my personal first option, but if they are in Thai food, then this might be the place for them. as a Google reviewer in the top 10% of the reviewers for the restaurants we were also granted a 15% discount, which was very friendly. many thanks to all employees in chaophraya."

"The Thai food at this restaurant is tailored to suit a Western palate. Upon arrival, there was a hint of attitude, but the interior of the restaurant was quite nice. Unfortunately, I found the calamari to be a bit bland for my taste."

"The food and service at this Thai restaurant in Newcastle were absolutely amazing. It was my first time visiting with my family and I have nothing but positive things to say. We tried the Happy Hour menu which included an appetizer and a main dish. We ordered a variety of dishes including Thai green curry, Massaman curry, Pad Thai noodles, Tom Yum soup, chicken satay, dumplings, and vegetable tempura. The Tom Yum soup was particularly delicious with plenty of chicken pieces. The portion sizes were generous and everyone in our group left satisfied. The children enjoyed their meals as well. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and efficient. I would definitely go back for another visit."

"I dined at this restaurant for the first time last night. We began with a shared appetizer platter featuring five items, all of which were delicious. The main course was outstanding and the service was excellent."

"After having been a couple times in their durham restaurant, I had no doubt that their newcastle operation in the mosley street would also deliver. or should that actually be deliveroo. everything was as good as expected; sweetcorn cake, veg tempura, green curry, red curry, jasmin rice and sticky rice. a veritables fixed with many rests to breakfast"

"Came here for dinner and the customer service was horrendous. We were ignored for a while and stood around waiting, despite several staff members walking past and making eye contact with us (no one was standing at the concierge reception desk). Then we were sent to the bar area to wait DESPITE having a reservation. They then proceeded to keep us waiting for a further minutes they only came to get us when I asked for the manager himself (clearly they had forgotten about us The manager then proceeded to question our booking saying it didnât exist. I showed them proof of a confirmation email, which I received yesterday, to which the manager said âthe booking is for tomorrowâ he didnât even read the date which said it was for today. Bare in mind the restaurant was not that busy at all! There were several empty tables and despite this we were kept waiting. Iâve worked in customer service so I know when the staff do not care about their customers and that was evident right here. I am highly disappointed as what was meant to be a great night had an awful start thanks to Patara. Will never be coming back here. No food is worth the disrespect. Itâs always disappointing when youâre rushing to make your booking on time, so as to not delay the restaurant but the restaurant couldnât care less about seating you on time. And then they had the gall to add service charge to my bill! After the awful service!"

"I was suprised to get a Patara Fine Thai Cuisine card and find out that there are four of these suckers in London. I have been dining at the Fulham Road one for quite a while now and am almost reluctant to review it. It is hard enough to get a table already! But my loyalty to TrustedPlaces wins out. This is a winner. So tasty it hurts. It is not cheap, so this is a treat but boy can they do Thai food. Just writing this review makes my mouth water. The ingredients are a cut above any other Thai restaurant I have eaten at and hint at what the real Mccoy is like...Patara are maestros. There is not much point me going through different dishes as there are too many to mention and I will not do them justice. The time before last the person I was dining with spotted an ex-James Bond drinking a Martini with whilst waiting for his take-away. I didn't look around to see whether this was just a wind up but somehow I suspect not."

"We ordered both the vegetarian set menu and the classic set menu, along with a few items from the a la carte menu at this restaurant. We found that the set menus were already substantial, so the extras weren't necessary. The portions were large and the selection of dishes was impressive. Despite the generous portions, the quality and taste of the food were excellent. The restaurant offers delicious Thai cuisine, a pleasant ambiance, and good value for fine dining. We highly recommend trying the signature sea bass dish."

"I went to Patara for dinner before heading to the theater district to see a show for my birthday. The food was excellent, and the portions were generous."
